Test Drive Unlimited 2 Extras + Euro Pre-orders & Release Date

Exclusive to EuroGamer is this preview and trailer showing the pre-order bonuses available to all us early birds who want to get our orders in for our TDU2 fix before the game comes out in February. There's something for everyone from the light but insanely quick Caterham R500, the comfortable but sporty Audi RS5 to the record holding 267mph Bugatti Veyron Supersport. Couple this with the Casino DLC for free at certain places and you have possible access to 2 extra special cars; the Audi R8 Spyder and the Spyker C8 Aileron.

 

Good times ahead but which to go for?! Well only you can decide on that one. :D

UPDATE #1 :: 2010-12-03

The Pagani Zonda will be available on consoles as well, but not as a pre-order exclusive.

 

Currently, the plan is for every car to be available on every platform (just not as a pre-order bonus).

Basically ... I have to pay another £5 to get the Veyron SuperSport instead of the Caterham or the V12. Sorry, but no. Lol. I will pay £0.92 for the RS5 though as I don't fancy a different coloured car that I will already have, and I never drive Caterhams. If only Shopto.net had an offer >.<

FYEO : it is the french Atari retail site... In case you would want something else as the Casino, by example the Ford Shelby GT500 (which is also called a Camaro Synergy Special Edition on some parts of the official site)...

Note the given release date (24 september 2010, cool :D) and the bonus car is still the 370z...

Note if you can some french, how in the french part of the announce you have no mention of any of the non-casino cars, as if they do not exist :(

That's an utter BS. I hope all those pre-orders bonus cars will be in non-pre-ordered game otherwise I'll probably boycott this game. If they won't I bet 100$ they'll be in a 30$ DLC Carpack.

 

Think about this in therms of online racing. I won't be able to win an online race with standard Veyron because someone will have the faster SS version. That's how every game should be balanced. It's like having the best gun in FPS game that nobody else can have it.
