After doing 3 A-spec endurance races this weekend I decided to do something even more boring and take some more photos from a random saved replay :p

Indeed, I know nothing about DSLR photo-taking settings, but that one was the pick of the bunch.

 

Funny thing is that it's the same corner as the one in Leadfoot's favourite pick from my last set :p

Yeah, only works well with high focus/speed setting, and all the cars have to be centred horizontally in the middle.

LG and I did a few races today where I got show show off my skillz :)

 

Took some photos from our last Sunday Drive (that's what it felt like being stuck behind him), I guess he'd call it a race :p

Was good fun. Driving in GT5 with my new wheel + pedals + shifter feels much better compared to playing FM4 and playing GT5 on my old G25. The only thing I don't like is the 900 degree wheel rotation which makes holding slides in some cars very difficult (perhaps just like real life, who knows).

No, it is very unreal... lol. I have a friend who lived in Japan, and he drifted there... he says GT5 is garbage when it comes to drifting with wheels.

Thanks, Ryzza. Here are some more pics from a previous shuffle race - some properly fantastic close racing with lots of position changes due to differing car attributes. So close you'd probably struggle to tell which car I'm in. :lol:

Shuffle races are one of the most fun ones in GT5. :lol: Specially when you get a bad car and put someone with a good one under pressure. The feeling is priceless. :lol:

I was in the Type R Honda (taking a good racing line fyi Milli), there were about 8 other cars behind our pack. My rivals were faster on the straights but I was quicker through the corners (just hard to get around those massive trucks). I don't usually schedule meets because you end up waiting and then people don't make it. If I see a bunch of racing buddies online in Steam I'll ask on the spot and we'll do something, so make sure you're signed into Steam if you want to play :)
