Fill Your Garage!

Congratulations, you have been given a large sum of money! (Hypothetically of course, but we can dream, can't we?) This money is required to be spent only on cars or modifications, maintenance, and care products for the cars you buy. Here are the guidelines:

  • $500,000 limit
  • Not all of the money is required to be spent
  • No required amount of cars
  • Prices of cars must be listed, but can be either exact prices or close estimates
  • Cars chosen must be new and cannot be pre owned

What will you fill your garage with? Here's my collection:

2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 ($128,440)

2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG ($260,000)

2011 Buick Enclave CXL ($50,590)

2011 Cadillac CTS sedan ($56,695)

Added up, I am at $495,725. This leaves me with $4,275 for car cleaning supplies and such.

So, what are you waiting for? Get to filling! :D

*It should be noted that criticizing other people's decisions is not constructive towards the thread

Update: The maximum amount of $500,000 is equal to 380,543.07 euros. Hope that helps!

2010 Lamborghini Murcielago Lp-670-4-SV ($492,190) with everything. Who knew the Big spoiler cost $7000..

And the other $7,810 will go for rent for a garage space.

Or I could lease it, and when the lease is up, still have $450K, and continue leasing exotic cars.

Tarnations! I was going to list a couple of modified cars but I have no idea how much they'd cost with modifications on them. That and I can't be bothered to work out the exchange rates :p

Most of mine would be used cars though, unless they were magically back on sale in dealerships brand new for the sake of this thread :p

Aston Martin DBS Coupe ($280,000)

Mosler MT900 ($164,000)

and now I'm out of cash for cool stuff and I need to get to the shops somehow...

X5 xDrive35i Premium ($52,100)

$3,900 left to spend on crisps and beer, 'tis the life.

Nuts, I have no idea what car prices are like Stateside...

Yea.. I based it around £500,000 but soon realised that the exchange rate is a cruel mistress. (Well in the confines of this game anyway.) I'm so used to seeing DBS's for like £140,000 that when the figure was nearly $300,000 dollars I was stumped lol.

I did find some that cost a bit less but the mileage was enough to classify them as used, this one had about 60 miles on it which to me is new enough.

I'm going to base mine of £500,000, and the prices on £ as well(afterall that is what i'd be useing). I'm also going to stick to cars that are New, or as close to new as possable! And that all cars are Going on Base Price, and not speced up.

So heres the list:

Mercedes SLS AMG - £168,345

Morgan Aero Supersports - £126,900

2011Vauxhall VXR8 - £49,500

Caterham R500 - £41,000

2011 DMC DeLorean - £43,591 (Originally $67,500.00, but conveted to pounds...Only upgrasde beeing $10K for RHD)

2010 TVR sagaris - Around £50,000

Total = £20,664

Actually make that £16,664....A good Used Suzuki Cappuccino Cost's around £4,000!:D

Befour anyone says "How can a DeLorean be new?", its a long story but a guy in the US bought the remigning parts and restores/makes DMC's new! Even updated!

As for the Sagaris, kinda the same story! A guy just outside my Town owns the only 2010 Sagaris! and it cost them around £50K!

500k is too much for me :D

All cars are US Spec and with options.

2011 BMW 135i M-Sport Alpine White w/ Performance $40,975 (Performance accesories not included)

2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Grabber Blue $52,060

2011 Porsche Cayman R $66,300

2011 Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI 4MATIC Wagon Palladium Silver $98,823 (Euro Spec)

2011 Mercedes-Benz E550 Coupé AMG pack Arctic White $66,515

2011 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Iridium Grey $96,745

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX GSR Rally Red Metallic $36,130

I'd go with E350 CDI Wagon for everyday usage. It is awesome car.

Hi, do you know which dealer sold the sagaris? Never heard about one still being about. Racing Green still have a few tuscan 2's for sale that they built themselves but to Sagaris's.

Anyway my garage would be;

RS3 (£40,000)

Caterham RST-V8 (£115,000)

Lambourgini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni (£138,000)

Ford GT (£120,000)

£9000 left...

I'm not sure where the guy bough it from, i only knew about the car as it was in the local newspaper(not headline news, but in the weekly car pullout they have!) And I've only seen it once and only know it was because of the colour(the guy did own another silver sagaris, but sold it befour buying the new one). I never knew they had put some Tsucans togeather though.

On-topic, its intresting to see what everyone's picking! Alot of us are picking cars that come from the same country(Most of mine from the UK for example) and none of us have really gon and jut picked supercars!

There was a Mk 3 Sagaris but only one was ever made, LHD and flogged to some Russian bloke. Only a handful of Mk 2's were ever made as well iirc, the Mk 1's looked better anyway with the side facing exhausts.

Heck, i'll just go for what I can buy here in Singapore, ridiculous taxes and all...

USD 500k = SGD 647,250

BMW M3 Competition (4dr) - $391,800

Suzuki Swift Sport - $93,900

Mazda MX-5 - $161,000 (est)

Which leaves me with a grand total of $550. Yep, that really is all that I can buy here with US$500k.
