Bikes are coming to TDU2! More info 14th April

GMDestra just responded to a thread over at tdu2.com stating that bikes are "pretty much confirmed". :D This will make many happy and be *meh* for others but we will ignore them for now anyway. :cheeky:

If you know what I was like with bikes on TDU then you know I'm well psyched for this!

Bikes are pretty much confirmed now. Keep an eye out for tomorrow's front page news for the official announcement that they should be coming in a future DLC update.

Note: Even though in the run up to the games release we were told bikes were coming this is the first official post release confirmation hence why it's such a big deal.

As much as it should be obvious there are many departments within Eden who work on different things. Modellers/Artists don't for example do physics, programmers don't do the art, the Casino team work on the Casino so relax. All areas are doing their own thing. Plus note it's only info about a future DLC, who know what will come before it.

So if they're announced tomorrow, does that mean we'll get them before or after September?

If the modellers are currently creating bikes, I guess that means they're currently not creating cars - unless it's a half/half split.

Will be interesting to see what bike physics are like in any case.

Nice, maybe one day when my in game friends list works we can hit the road and hunt them down in Veyrons. Oh and I'd like to use the R500 in multi races without crippling the lobby. But you know, when you get time and all.

I was crusing today and came across a bike dealer "under construction" (possibly came with the DLC)

I like the idea of the showrooms being "constructed first" and then they are unlocked ... maybe make it so they have a grand opening sale :P

With the many astonishing ways to earn loads of money in TDU2 (who am I fooling...), a 75%-off openingsale on the first 48 hours wouldn't be a bad idea xD
