After watching the gamersyde clips, the Gameplay #3 video (4th video) reminded me of TDU/TDU2 in many ways, things like the skills score and multiplier from TDU2, the aircraft flying around (and 'mini' ones flying around the map when they're setting a waypoint) - JUST LIKE TDU, plus the 370z engine sounds familiar to the 350 in TDU, and the laFerrari, I'm sorry to say it, has an engine recording from Test Drive also (sounds like mclaren f1 GTR sound?)

 

I really hate recycled content. I love miniature planes flying around the map as in the past, but it's still recycled.

All the engine sounds were done by Ubi Reflections (so you'd think that they would sound like Driver SF), old content is the IP of Atari so it technically can't be recycled, plus they spent 3 years building a new game engine from scratch.

 

Some of the places I saw yesterday were epic, just a shame that my recording was on lower quality because I was busy trying to get a beta key.

Call out the sounds that don't work for the cars and show you notice it and you never know what can happen. The game is still in development of course so things can and will change.

I'd imagine they might have a similar layering of handling difficulty levels (like a more simplified version of what you had in Forza Horizon).

Hardcore in The Crew is completely different from TDU1 HC mode. It is more the real drivers setup for The Crew. With a refined handling model that will be a lot better than TDU1. Including advanced tire models and various working differentials, based on specs. :cool:
