The off-road pics were actually a direction TDU2 may have went and if you read older interviews they did actually toy with going with a TEST DRIVE: OFF ROAD again. I remember the surprise on my face when I came across all these images early in that year, the BADNED posting wasn't enough and there was such a long lull of anything being shown so I went searching myself.

 

Amazing what we ended up with, some said it would happen but it seemed too crazy to actually consider it would be screwed up that bad.

 

The Crew should hopefully erase those bad times for the memory. :cool:

Haha I knew exactly the photos that would open as soon as I read the thread title, now that does take me back a fair bit. I didn't think it was 5ish years though!? Jesus christ time has flown.

It felt like we were only at Namco last year. That was almost 4 years ago. :eek: Time really has flown by recently.

Oh gawd, Camel, now the pizza gameplay there came to my mind. :eek: :eek: I remember the pic of the Domino's covering the TV screen and most of the car which we were guessing what it is. I think it was a GT-R.

Oct 2010 was the NBP TDU2 visit and these images were quite a bit before they even announced the game.

 

June/July 2009 is when I posted about those images above btw so yeah 5 looong years that have flown by!

Maybe one of the reasons part of the original TDU Crew went their own way. Fergus told in an interview that he already had the vision for The Crew when they were still working on TDU1.

Anyway, The Crew will deliver. Mark my words.

Had some truly unbelievable chances to get to see and play this game and not been able to do so due to family matters. It's killing me softly!
