Managed to get it all installed.

Come up against the black screen of doom. I've read this is a compatibility issue with Windows 10. 

I've tried the suggestions I've seen about Magic Map and removing the d3d9 file. Neither worked unfortunately. So looks like the end of the line.

How to race the "Mountain Peak Ride" on TDU Platinum!

All you need is the Original TDU and the Platinum TDU both installed on your PC.
When you go play that race, play the original game to do this specific Race, only this one, will not crash your Save Game.
After doing the Race, go back to TDU Platinum, and continue as normal.
Works for me!

1.22 is going to be called 1.25, and it's currently under development.

It's a left over from testings i was doing.  Lol  So, yeah, unfinished.

You missing the G65 AMG's car file

 

You must add again G65_AMG.bnk and G65_AMG_I.bnk  into the direction of the game root Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/bnk/Vehicules/

Make sure that all files have been copied to the folder with your game and also enable function the Big.bnk in TDU - Project Paradise Launcher

I re installed too the game I mean and tried a couplke of different download of iso files any other suggestions

Wait, what? ISO files? TDU Platinum is zipped only, no ISO afaik.

iso is for tdu installation tried different iso files to make sure game files are not damaged and platinum is zipped yes and coppied that files to the euro and the main folder and maked sure the big.bnk is checked but still the result as the screanshots

Enable BigBnk in the launcher.  Also, make sure your Project Paradise is working. In the main menu screen, it must say 0.03a instead of 1.66.  Also make sure you have d3d9.dll in your TDU main folder. 

If the game crashes with d3d9.dll, make sure to remove any compatibility mode of the .exe files.

as you see 

Add the game to the exceptions of your antivirus and firewall, perhaps they limit some of the functions of the game

Thank you so the problem it seems is directx added the d3d9.dll and installed the dx again and then removed the compatibility mode on TestDriveUnlimited.exe fixed it
