Depended on the box you put it in, I put mine in an old monitor box so it was a pretty snug fit anyway but I did put some bubble wrap down the sides and top to stop it moving about.

I packed it in a box salvaged from work, which I modified to be a better fit. I just bulked it out with scrunched up news paper and folded card (since I didn't have any bubble wrap and there wasn't time). They fixed my 360 and sent it back in their own packaging and it was spotless so obviously my dodgey packing did enough.

Scratch one more Xbox.

I had RROD friday, as I was watching a video through media centre. Still had it when I came back from the car-show sunday. Contacted MS yesterday, and shipped the console today.

Now we play the waiting game.

Well mines only a year and a half old (bought it the day before TDU was released) so as they extended the warrenty to 3yrs for RRoD Its still under warrenty.

Says the one who said, and i qoute, "I wouldn't bother if I was you, its boring, no one goes on it anymore"

I have an excuse ... currently got my dad in replacing my bathroom in my flat (aren't retired parents that love doing DIY great) ... which means I'm kipping at my parents house and haven't taken my xbox with me as my dad only has a USB modem thingy

However one thing I will say is it could do with a new exciting multiplayer game ... GTA multiplayer freeroam gets a bit dull after a while ... but I've still got the story to complete ... oh and would like to do some more Burnout at some point ... oh and FM2 ... and there's a whole load of stuff for me still to do on LSW:TCS too

I know what you mean Hybrid theres loads I wanna complete but that means being unsociable, if only M$ would implement a 8player private cahat so you could do single player whilst chatting to mates.

Quick question to fellow sufferers of RRoD, When you sent your 360 off how well did you package it??

When my friend sent his off again he used the box his computer came in and just packed it up with newspaper.
