I disagree for 2 reasons. 1) The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is the best looking car ever made. 2) They ruined that one with terrible wheels and rear lights.

Imo that orange gallardo isn't bad. I have seen way worst. But for me the best looking car in the world is the Carrera GT. You have no idea how that car makes me feel.

I do like quite a few classic cars, but the DB5 (and all the DBs up to the DB7 - they all look the same anyway) has never tickled my fancy. Its just meh to me. And I do believe the second best looking car ever is the old V8 Vantage.

Firstly ... Gallardo ... nice looking car ... but someone has murdered that one

 

AMV8 ... too stumpy ... DB7 is mile better

 

MC12 ... an Enzo in drag ... and that's an F40 in the background

 

Next thing some kid will be saving a Scooby or an Evo is beautiful ... I'd hate to think why you think a beautiful woman looks like

Theres a Difference between a Beautiful car and good looking one in my books, a beautiful car is one that is sleek and flowing IMO.

 

Beautiful cars for me are

 

Alfa 8c

Maserati Grandsport

Pininfarina P4/5

Austin-Healey Sprite

Lamborghini Murcialargo

 

However, as far as I can see, beautiful cars are for a certain type of guy, someone sophisticated, who is always on the pulse, someone who has to be everywhere fast, and with precision.

 

Me? I like my cars like i like my bikes. Either

 

A) stupidly rapid and unadaptable to any other use than going fast (Case in point, Caterham 7 or Triumph Speed Triple)

or

B) Slow burbling thing that doesnt attack corners, rather wafts through them providing a hearty grumbling soundtrack (like a Mk I Escort... *drool* or some sort of Harley)

or

C) A mix between both, a cruiser that knows what to do when you stop cruising (Aston :D or my new fav motorbike, the hyosung GV650)

I don't like the Gallardo. Don't ask me why, I just don't. It's not my style. The MC12 is to race car-y, imho.

The best looking car in the world surely has to be the DB9. The Vantage is great, but it's to squashed and the front bumper makes the car look too "fat". It really needs fog lights or air intakes to the side of the lower grille, just like on the DB9.

 

Oh and let's not forget the Alfa 8C :D

Well I don't think we can deside what which car is the best looking car in the world on this thread, simply because people's tasts vary to much. However, I don't see why this can't be a "These are my favorite looking cars" thread. That seems to be what it's turning into anyway. :)

 

So, maybe a admin/mod could change the name of this thread? Just a thought.
