Tool831: 2009 Lamborghini Reventon [27/3/2010 - V1.2]
MagicV8 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
I'm strictly against deleting, perhaps someone needs the data, Tool831 or other modders made in their release posting. Signing the thread as dead is enough to me.- 216 replies

released FerrariDriver12: V8 Sound Mod
MagicV8 replied to FerrariDriver12's topic in Car Customization Mods
"When you want to have it, write me a PM.", the OP has written. But I'm not sure, if he's still here. -
First of all, thank you very much for the new traffic cars at all, StarGT. :thumbsup: But I've a little problem with all of them at night. The normal ingame traffic is at night very good viewable, and with your traffic cars, I see the lights (head and rear) very very late, just when I'm too close to them. Is this only with me?

If I'm driving the Lambo Countach (from this patch, not the Ascari replacement) in cockpit view, and use the "look backwards" key of my wheel, so there is no looking backwards, just another foreward looking, through the back glass this time. Did someone else experience this? Perhaps a little bug? @Xarlith: Did you get my PM about the hawaiian gas station?

Hi there, I'm looking for some special tires with colored (mostly white) wheel producer names on their sides. I already know about these: GOOD YEAR GOOD YEAR EAGLE F1 Yokohama ADVAN Yokohama DUNLOP I would appreciate it very much, if someone could give me a link for downloading these tires. The file format doesn't matter. Please include the modders name. If there are some more tires alike, please let me know. The "COBRA R/T" I already have. Thank you very much.

MagicV8 replied to COMB@T_$HOTGUN's topic in Vehicle Mods
Very nice @ COMB@T. :thumbsup::thumbsup: -
I think, he meant the offline start time.

Sounds all very nice, Xarlith. :thumbsup: One little addition With Aston Martin V12 Vantage (both versions I think) the rear left wheel is a bit too much outside the car body ... or the rear right one too much inside. How ever you take it. ;)

"ALOHA" gas station [v1.0] Textures replaced: Gas stations on Hawaii Converter/Creator: franks aka Magic V8 Credits: 3D Model, Textures - Atari/Eden Games !!Please make sure to backup your original file/s before installing this mod and read the included README file!! DOWNLOAD Some textures (fuel dispenser, roof lights) are HD and eight times bigger then the original one! The Zip includes the following files: - ss_oil_b.2DB - ss_oil_b_lodc.2DB - ss_oiln.2DB - d1_brick.2DB - d1_grille.2DB Well, here is the explanation, what how to do, to replace the ugly original gas station: 1. You have to unpack TDU 2. 2. Locate the commonworld.bnk for Hawaii at C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\TDU2\Euro\Bnk\islands\hawai\level (or where you have unpacked the game). 3. Backup that file!!! 4. Unpack the commonworld.bnk using the MiniBNKManager. 5. Replace the original files ss_oil_b.2DB, ss_oil_b_lodc.2DB and ss_oiln.2DB in ...\commonworld.bnk\5Prepared\PC\EURO\Decors\Hawai \Objects\Buildings\buildings\suburbs_shops\ss_oil_ a\maps with the ones in the ZIP. 6. Replace the original files d1_brick.2DB and d1_grille.2DB in ...\commonworld.bnk\5Prepared\PC\EURO\Decors\Hawai \Objects\Buildings\Common_Maps with the ones in the ZIP. 7. Repack the commonworld.bnk using the MiniBNKManager again. 8. Copy the new one into your game folder (look at point 2). 9. Start TDU 2 and enjoy the new ALOHA gas station. :D Mod History v1.0 - first release Terms of use: ------------- - The models, skins and other files are for private use only - Commercial use of this modification is strictly prohibited - All Registered Trademarks and Copyrights are property of their respective owners - If you wish to edit this modification please contact me via e-mail: - You are allowed to edit this modification and it's contents for your own private use [if applicable] - Before uploading work by another modder, permission must be granted by the original author

Well, you are not alone! I would like to learn also to mod cars. I have the needed programs too, but I don't know where and how to start. Furthermore I think, that I am unfortunately a person needing someone picking up my hand and do a step-by-step from start to end the first time. :( But in my opinion every new modder is always a win for the community, especially if she/he will become a good one. :)
