It is a shame that's illegal in the UK now.

Imo, people who stand next to puddles like that fully deserve to get soaked.

 

Over here in the UAE its even better. When it rains the road flood because there are no drains. I've splashed quite a few people last winter, some by mistake and some (i'm not ashamed to admit) quite deliberately. Even better are the idiots who drive around with their windows open because they can't see through the tint when its wet. I got 2 of them last year, we laughed so hard. :o

The closest I've ever come to anything like this was riding my bike home from the pub one night when I was working in Uppminster. Some pharqwad kept his full beams on on and forced me into a ditch on the side of the road. TBH I would have preferred to be wet as the ditch and nettles therein really hurt.
