I can see the normal snow, but the page freezes (no pun intended :p) in the Extreme Snowstorm thread... I use Chrome, my PC specs are in my profile, so I guess it's the modem because it's the weakest link of my PC (327 kb/s).

It's fine at home, but not work - so if you wanted to detect browser and allowed for FF but not IE that'd be cool, but is the only classifier is username then best just disable for all.
