Hehe - it takes me a good 20 mins to get used to TDU1 Hardcore NoAids these days since i don't play it much - but at least it's predictable.

TDU2 PS3 Final Version Questions:

 

Hi, I have a few questions concerning some matters I find important about TDU2:

 

-What about the sense of speed? Do cars shake or tremble? Is there any noticeable effect when you accelerate or brake?

 

-Is that thing with the changing gears fixed in the final version? (Example: When changing a gear at 6000, it goes naturally down till 5000 but then you hear the gear changing and the revs go abruptly down to 4000, it seems that instead of being a smooth change is like a stopping and starting again of the sound.)

 

-Can you import your own tunes into the game?

 

-Are the indicators functioning better? (do they make any sound or have lights blinking in the interior view.)

 

-In the VVV Automotive videos the game looks terribly bright and cartoony. Can you tell me if it looks like that in the final build? (I don't know if it is the angle, TV or ingam brightness but the BETA looked more real, the colour palette seems all messed up and everything is too bright.)

 

-When you find the Aston Martin dealership, can you see if the DBS still sounds like a toy or the sound was changed since the BETA?

 

-Also, there has been a lot of talk about the game having no Club Exclusives. Can you confirm if that really is true whenever you can?

THE CARS DO SHAKE AND TREMBLE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN,EFFECTS WHEN ACC AND BRAKING IS DIFFERENT ALSO MORE POWERFULL CARS TEND TO BURN RUBBER AND MOVE AWAY FROM A STRAIGHT LINE WHEN YOU START,I GUESS IM USING SPORTS MODE,BUT WHEN YOU GET CONTROL OF IT ITS GREAT,THE BRAKING EFFECT IS ALSO GOOD

GEAR CHANGING IS FINE,IV NOT SEEN ANYTHING ABNORMAL ABOUT IT..IT FOLLOWS THROUGH REALLY WELL.

NO YOU CANT

NO SOUND ON INDICATORS,NO BLINKING IN COCKPIT VIEW EITHER,ONLY EXTERNAL VIEW IT FLASHES

IM USINGAN LED TV WITH AN EXPENSIVE HDMI,FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN ITS NOT GT5,I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE GRAPHICS I LIKE IT.AT NIGHT TIME THE LIGHTS FROM THE CITY REFLECTS ON THE BONNET VEIW WHICH LOOKS NICE,AND DAYIME LOOKS LUSH.

I HAD A TESTDRIVE IN THE DBS AND IT SOUNDS SWEET ROARS LIKE A LION LOL.MY 5.1 IS A BEAUTY LOL.

IM NOT SURE ON EXCLUSIVES IN THE CLUB,IV OPENED A CLUB AND GOT 3PPL IN THERE,BUT NOT USED IT AT THE MOMENT.

I was going to say how to find out then I remembered one of the VVV videos and yes it appears you can paint and tune the Veyron, you just can't sticker it.

That's good because that means that the second color should stay the same and just the primary color changes. I may be wrong, but I don't remember any option for changing the secondary color of a car in the paint shop.

I think you'll be fine. The pre-order cars are DLC's for everyone (the idea being that if you didn't get a pre-order bonus, you could get one then), and it seems like the early-bird games are exactly the same as the rest, so one would assume DLC access is the same. :)
