Yeah, WD has different types at different price points to choose from now.

Green = Eco, less reiliable imo

Blue = Something

Red = NAS (24/7 use, low temperatures)

Black = Performance/Gaming

Should be getting my taxes sorted out soon, so I'll get less money taken off my pay, should give me chance to buy a new drive, my current one is ancient! Just transferred it from my first pc to my custom one.

Bought a WD 2TB Red (NAS) drive for my non-gaming [HT]PC/server since it's basically on 24/7 (off between 12.30am and 7am usually) and my current green drive has started making the odd bad noise (WD 2TB black drives are in the gaming PC)

And also this 5.25" bay drawer... because why not? :)

I clicked on the link, saw the picture, read "Just got 2 of these" and thought I read that completely wrong and slapped my face (I'm exhausted and can barely stay awake).

And THEN I finished reading the sentence. :fp2:

Wow, seems like people here have been going the wrong way by choosing Canon :cheeky:

Nah, I don't hate Canons but just couldn't own one, especially after owning a Nikon for almost 5 years now. It was time for an upgrade :nods:
