It's not back. Just another concept.

Well,it's officially called NSX and they say (though I don't believe in that) that it will hit production in three years...

Even though it's a hybrid,I like it.It's not a Prius kind of hybrid so it's OK.I guess that this car will be the same thing R8 and SLS are currently for Audi and Mercedes,it will promote the best stuff that Honda has to offer. Also Greenpeace isn't going to hate it that much.I just hope that you won't be able to drive it on electricity only, that would be badly bad and would kill the car in my,and other petrol/gear/whateverheads eyes.

NSX means New Sports eXperience... so, basically... it is an NSX... lol

Also, this car is a Mid-engine V6 petrol engine rwd car... it just have electric motors in front wheels. Not a big deal, not a Prius, not a common economic focused hybrid. Not poo. ;)

Way too far detached from the first and second generation NSX and its been gone too long to bring it back IMHO, should have left it on a good note rather than bring it back on a hybrid one. Not a fan for now, if it develops into something that resembles the other 2 more then I may change my mind. It had better be powered by a non turbo/supercharged VTEC V6 like the other 2 as well...

edit: Also, why is it now the Acura NSX rather than being released/revealed first under the Honda brand? Americanisation of one of the greatest sports cars to come out of Japan is incredibly frustrating to me.

Guys, it is not like the old NSX, ok... but it was supposed to be like the old? I don't think so. Also, it still being a concept, we don't know what can happen in the future. They can pretty much use the same car, remove a lot of luxury and high-tech things and call it Type-R, with the spirit of the old... We never know.

Look to the bright side, they are considering make a mid-engine car again... it being Acura or Honda doesn't bother me, why LF-A is Lexus and not Toyota? Pretty much same thing... Put something into your heads, even with the release of the new NSX, the old never will die inside of the car enthusiasts, pretty much like old classics, as the Skyline KPGC10, Golf GTi Mark I, Escort RS Cosworth, Mercedes 300SL Gullwing... once a car became a classic, it never will lose this title.

Good God. I agree. I completely agree. What is wrong with me.. why am I agreeing with Milli.

POINT IS - she's right! This is a concept car as Kelvjy pointed out - we could see a massive change before it actually gets released. Look at the past history of concept cars - none of the releases have looked like their concept - because concept cars are well... a concept. As for why it's an Acura and not a Honda - Honda is now synonymous in the US (where it's being produced, Maryland to be precise) with being economical. Acura being the luxury/sports brand is much more suited to hold the NSX name than Honda.

Point is - cars are never as good as they once were. If Ferrari were to make another Daytona - it would suck simply because we love the old one. Learn to accept that this car is the new NSX and it's honestly not that bad. We live in a world of hybrids, etc. get used to it. You might not like it - but you have to deal with it.

Why do we live in a world full of hybrids and electric shiznits? Because some people think there's a global warming. Yes, it's probably true and is very big problem. But, there is a one big but - cars don't cause the global warming. It's a hysteria that has been done by goverments and "environmentalists". What about ships, planes, factories?

I'm done with writing this.

Oh I agree with you completely mate! But I think hybrids are good and they have a real chance at being cool. We need to give them that chance.
