C1 Corvette and a nice, vintage Jag XK (120 or 140, It was too far to tell) yesterday. Cars are beginning to show up. :)

Sadly nothing very special today, however Mustang is nice.

It's always funny how base-spec Mustangs are "nice" in other countries. Nice Porsches, though.

What did i see yesterday? Nothing like your fancy pancy Supercars with fancy pancy camera quality...just good ol fashion rally cars and a bit of passion for a sport I love. :D

The day started out with sun, but once the stage started it started to snow, as this Skoda Estelle kindly shows...

While im on this image, though I'd show this for anyone who remembers 2 years ago I was at the rally :cheeky:

Not long after we herd a crashing sound, so we headed up to see if everything was okay, only to find a C2 had ditched it's self...

So we set about helping with the rescue effort, as this was on the inside of a blind corner, and the stage was still on!

I was taking the photo when they started pull at it again, went to help once I was took!

You can see the driver on the right of the picture, and just out of sight on the left is the C2, sadly the way the car was stuck we could't get it out,

On the break between 2WD class and the 4WD, a driver and navigator from another car not far down the stage came along, and there jackers had a logo on them i know realllly well! So we decided to follow them back up the stage when the next cars came along!

This Evo 9 blasting round a twisty part of the stage, like many of the drivers in the 4WD class, his driving was what we would call crazy!

This out of focus Triumph Dolomite Sprint is a great reminder of why national championship rally and Local stages are great, you see a great range of cars

We caught up with the Driver & Navigator we seen earlyer, and it was a work friend of my dad who i've herd about alot, and seen him driving in the past! He knew who I was without knowing what I look like!(But the logo on my jumper have somthing to do, as its a work jumper, like his jacket) He's a good driver, how good? Well if Money was't a problem He'd still be racing in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge! Sadly, he took this deep corner too close and got stuck, somthing a FWD civic could't get out of...

The car is fine, and once it got towed out at the end of the stage he drove it back home.

At the end of the stage, we had to go pickup another of my mates who was Travling with the survice crew for one of the teams sporting nothing less than a Lancia Delta HF Integrale...

Sadly, on the 3rd stage it had gearbox problems, so it had to be towed away, but heres a small dump of photos

Due to this, we diddent have time to make any of the other events, but we managed to get to the very finish to see the cars roll in! My camera died then, but I got photos of a VERY famous car, thanks to its driver...

Sorry if this feels like i'm taking up space, but meh! Makes a nice change from all the Supercars! ;)

I'll have more photos up soon once I get the other memory card to work! And may have some great ones of the Delta, thanks to my Friend who was travling with them!:cheeky:

Awesome spot, The shot is ruined by the objects growing out of the car and that distracting roadworks sign though imo

Your main concern about everyone's photography seems to be checking if there are things growing out of something

Don't listen to him Tom, both the Scud and the SL look lovely

Yes, I know that teachers usually say how "things growing out of things" may ruin photos (my arts teacher used to say that aswell) but after all, imho it only looks bad if it's a portrait as there it may look dumb, because making some lampposts/traffic signs behind a bloody car disappear would be quite hard AND they belong in the street view after all :p

Photography teachers are useless anyways. You gotta come up with your own way of taking photos. For me it is not thinking about trees behind a car when taking photos of it ;)

I saw a RS4 today and the driver was giving it some, shame that I don't mind if my car gets scratches and such on it! xD

Cactus, you should kill the Skoda with fire. :panic:

I likes it though! Really Struggled with the uphill that it was doing in that pic(to the right)

I saw a Yellow Evora when I was walking from my TAFE to the Southern Cross station, didn't take a pic of it though because my mind automatically classed it as not special enough :fp2: But when he took off it sounded pretty cool
