Please note that ALPHA releases do not contain all features, so you should refer to attached files in first post (changelog.md.txt ...) to learn more and get download link.

 

Remember, you have to apply it on a separate, clean TDU install to make it work.

 

While waiting for your feedback, I will work on ALPHA 1 :)

Sounds nice, some nice features i see there :)

I like the new slot thingy, but for it to work even better we all should have them, not wanna see default cars driving around me cause others doesnt have additional slots.

Will test when i find place on my hdd for separate clean installation, while world moved onto TBs oh HDDs and SSDs i am still on very small hdd :(

DLC slots and new slots will come in a future release, it's not even ready for ALPHA 2 :)

 

Currently available features are those mentioned in the changelog.md.txt file

(to read correctly open this file with a real text editor as notepad32, ultraedit or sublime text... windows notepad is a piece of garbage).

Hi,

 

all mods requiring 1.68b patch (Bugatti, Facel ...) should work with 2.00A - ALPHA 2 and later.

Bugs might appear but they can be fixed.

 

And compatible with Project Paradise of course from the beginning :)

 

Btw, ALPHA 2 release in a few days !

Had a bit of free time yesterday to prepare new release, so:

- Includes Community Patch 1.68b cameras

- Special tuned cars available in tuners (Alfa GT SP, ...)

- Provides new rim names for many mods (Bugatti Atlantic, Facel Vega...)

 

 

Bugfixes

- Propose Nismo rim set for Nissan 350Z RTune and RTune power (required for car dealers)

- Give ACE rank at 98% game completion: ignore broken inter-club achievement

 

 

Known Bugs

- Ferrari F40 gets two identical tuning options (until kit 3) at Forza Tuner spot

Hi all,

 

to make you wait until ALPHA5 release is ready, I've updated feature lists in first post ... and particularly future features

What do you think ?

 

 

Feature wishes:

- Auto-installer / uninstaller to update existing TDU install without resetting database

- Guarantees available and unique camera sets for each slot

- Provides new camera sets, totalizing 300+ cameras for mods requiring view adjusting

- Compatibility with 1.66A without megapack, TDU Gold

- Add new traffic vehicles (may lead to online sync issues)

- Fix missing World zones (car falling into the ground)

- Populate fixed World zones with new roads / tracks :)

- Provide telemetry via shared memory file (might be implemented in Project Paradise)

- Fanaled API support

- ... ?

Things are going good there, but I have several questions,

 

1. I don't know if this has been a feature or not, but will current patch (or future ones) differentiate shared files? Like in Saleen cars for example, all using the same file for wheels. (In my opinion, there is too much unimportant variation which I want to replace most of the cars).

2. Now I also don't know how possible this fix (maybe I should ask in TDUF thread), but is it possible to fix character animation for manual RHD car mod? That would make the game enjoyable even more.

 

Well, looking forward to next patch. Definitely wait for the new camera slots, since I also want to add loads of SUVs in my game

Hi,

 

that's some good questions, finally :)

 

Those vehicles are not meant to be file-swapped anymore, now it would be more comfortable to start using unlocked slots (available from ALPHA 4) or new slots (in ALPHA 5+). As unlocked slots and new ones always have dedicated rim set and files.

 

But indeed the game originally does not support a different rim set (nor rim files) for any of Saleen Mustangs, they all share the same one.

There's a database fix, the patch can provide dedicated rim set to each model (S281_F_02, _03 ....) for the sake of customization.

 

I will add this for future version, it might also apply to other 'duplicate' models (SLK55, Alfa GT, 350Z....)

 

 

Concerning character animation, I have not the knowledge in TDU animation files (does anyone ever has ?). So don't expect too much for now, sorry ;)

Nope, not possible. We have no access to the animation files, so we can't edit or add animations. Even more, those added animation would need to be assigned to a command, and the command for "Right hand drive" is not available in TDU, we are just able to move the cameras, which are basicly "putting the current numbers to negative from left to right"

Too bad that the animation can't be fixed, but at least it's not quite a big deal. At least we will have decent list of cars and bikes (Something that the big names like Forza and Driveclub can't do!) thanks to all of you amazing modders!

ALPHA 5 available for testing !

 

What's new in this version?

 

- Creates 2 brand new slots:

- 300000000 => TDUCP Model 3000 (Car), available @ [OC-Barber's point Golf, SW]

- 400000000 => TDUCP Model 4000 (Bike), available @ [OB-Crater, SE]

 

( can be used with any mod, you just have to rename your files to TDUCP_3000.bnk or TDUCP_4000.bnk ... see files.md for details )

 

- Provides updated TDUMT's VehicleSlots.xml file to make both slots appear under TDUMT

- Provides updated TDUPE's carData.mdb file to make both slots appear under TDUPE

- Add 3 new brands: Hennessey Performance, Radical, Rossion.

 

 

Bugfixes

- Include patched FX\FX.ini from Patch HD (absent from previous releases)

- Rim file for Triumph 955i follows same naming rules as other vehicles

- Name of Infiniti brand now fixed

- Behaviour and logo of Honda brand now fixed

- Behaviour of Generic brand now fixed

- Behaviour of Suzuki brand now fixed.
