So this is NOTHING official, just to get that out the way first. :)

Since Forza 6 is little under a month away, I though i'd get the train underway for Horizon 3 which is no doubt due around this time next year.

So, where do you reckon or hope the game could be set? :)

I've been toying with the idea of Asia for it.

Top guess would be Japan as could have a large city area, the wagon and Touge roads as well as a dock area.

ther thoughts were the Us again, only a different state or another part of Europe (Southern Germany? Autobahns and mountain roads)

I still think they should use the Isle of Skye though.

Is there going to be FH3? After all the money they make? lol.

I doubt so very much it'll be in Asia with how much the Forza Franchise excludes them already (Forza 6 has no asian tracks)

I assume they'll go back to North America, probably the US somewhere - Utah, or some open desert place.

I'd agree with Diablo honestly, Forza Horizon games have always lacked a little in urban areas so it makes sense that they'd want to go at least slightly more urban. Horizon 2 was a little better with all the little towns but at the speeds you'd be going you wouldn't see much of them anyways.

I don't mind urban areas if they'll actually put some effort into them this time, the cities/towns in the previous games were way too small. And they should also get rid of the final barriers to give us the chance to truly go anywhere.

If they're going to market the game as "go anywhere" - the barriers need to go away.

This. Remember in the trailers and E3 footage of The Crew they showed how you could just drive through wooden fences, into the forest and literally go anywhere? That's what FH3 needs to have.

What we really need, is for FH to become like TDU. Need a I say more? :)

As for locations, Im not counting The EU or US due to the past 2 being set there, so I could maybe see Abu Dhabi/Dubai-UAE as a setting. City area and all the open roads. Okay, alot of it is sand but that's what a Defender is for! :cheeky:

Another idea, Hong Kong? Big City and looking on google maps, seems' to have forrest & hilly roads. Add some creative use of the landscape like the past few games and it'd work I think.
