Silly question and I'm not trying to be offensive or anything ... but why do you have a left hooker Capri? Surely you could have bought a cheap UK car.

Also I see you haven't put the yard of cement in the spare wheel well yet!!!!!!

I used to love the 2 tone Lasers!

Oh when you put the Nitrous in be VERY careful with your insurance ... if I remember correctly you used to have to declare that the nitrous is for event purposes only and not road use

Firsty no probs mate. I have it because dvla have said it is one of 3 lhd 2.3 V6 capris in the uk and the only one still registered as on the road. Most uk cars are front wheel drive and I don't like the way they drive ( have owned mk1 escy and beetle before this car) The cement is only used in the boy racer 'can't be bothered to do it properly' set. I have had al the rear suspension swapped to race style five bar suspension with spax adjustable coilovers so the handling shoudl be spot on now. Notrous system is a long way off and insurers have said that I have to fit a race car halon system to allow me to fit it.

Still don't understand why you didn't buy a UK spec Capri then?

I never played about with Capris myself ... would have liked to but fell in love with Minis instead (if you search for my thread here)

I can understand the wanting Rear Drive thing ... the only one i've owned was a MkI MR2 (great handling car) and most modern cars these days are front wheel drive because of the package and complexity advantages they give over rear drive ... just look at a Focus and a 1-Series in terms of interior space!

As to the old yard of cement ... I heard it from a few people that used to tune Capris ... but that was years ago (as in 20!)

Oh and nice looking motor BTW

Honestly, because it was cheap really. Guy wanted £900 I got it for £250. Its something that you don't see very often (1 of 3) and I had a 1.6 laser so the power was better. I was going to transfer it to rhd but one day I took my nan out for a ride and it was funny to see the looks from people as this 90 year old lady 'drove' a V6 along the road :omg: , that point was when I decided to keep it
