    Thought I would create a topic for this as quite a few people's houses are visible on Google Earth.

     

    Only show a zoomed in picture of your house and not the whole surrounding area though because of what Diablo said (about people being able to track you etc...)

     

    I just thought it would be interesting to see what type of house people lived in and how visible it was on Google Earth ;)

     

    It should be OK but if it's not please lock or delete the thread. I will start :cool:

     

    I understand that some people won't want to do this and it's fine. I understand the reason. But for others it's a chance to see your house and what it's like on Google Earth etc..!

     

    First picture is the neighbourhood and the second is my actual house.

      google earth is rubbish in my area, but here goes...

      (the one of my house wouldnt upload to flickr for some reason, and the town view is too big to be an attatchment)

        cleanest city in world AFAIK is Singapore.

          that might be for google maps, its like that for all of wales...

           

          google earth worked for me though.

           

          oh, if you cant get it on google earth, try local.live.com aswell, thats miles better than google maps

            I don't live anywhere special, or in anything special, from what I consider as special anyway. These are just two pictures of my actual house and the surrounding area.

             

            Heh, they turned out smaller than I thought they would but hey, it stops people knowing every single detail :p

            I would advise on keeping the street names and such displayed in the image.

             

            Did you mean you would not advise or you would? I'm confused!

             

            Also this shouldn't allow people to track your house or what not as we haven't really given out any information which would allow yourself to be tracked ;)
