I've been playing around with HDR a bit more, and its all coming out pretty good. I'll post one of my favourites:

I saw a cloud today as I was on the bus returning home from college.

 

And the cloud was shaped like a Dragons Head! I was stunned, I got my phone out to take a picture but the bus turned a corner and i lost it :(

 

 

 

Would have been such a nice photo!

Yesterday I take my father D40 and started to make pictures around the place, and more pics I take, more I like that :)

I'm going to get myself a 70-300mm aswell sometime. :)

First i have to get myself a polar filter:D

^ I don't have a polarizer on my zoom lens (they are different sizes in diameter), and I really haven't seen the full effects of it yet (whether they aren't as far as I expect, I will have to find out later), but remember to always have a filter on your lens. I always have the Polarizer on my 18-55mm and a UV one on the 70-300mm. It protects it as well as gives you better effects (in some cases, but not all)

 

I've always said (even before I got the DSLR) that it is the photographer, not the camera that provides the good pictures. Don't go spending lots of money on something you know nothing about.

Yes but they were saying the lens flare = bad, but thats all he has, so therefore your the nugget :D :oook:
