  1. hi, anyone have problem with the green peper edition bonus pack installer ? im only getting half the cars im supposed to get in that pack
  2. I`ve been looking around different forums and sites regarding a specific car mod,the Infiniti Q60. The car first appeared in Forza 6,then in Forza 7 and Horizon 3. As a mod,the car is only available for GTA SA, IV and V. I found the actual files of the car extracted from Forza Horizon 3 at gamemodels.ru If anyone knows how to convert the mod from any of the mentioned GTA games to TDU i would be very grateful.
  3. hi, i try to install tdu 1 on my pc but the installer close and i get this message after it finish downloading installshield wizard (the installer was interrupted before tdu could be completely installed). I have an original cd in perfect condition, i tried compatibility mode but nothing work. anyone have a solution ? thanks

Why does some vehicles display an absurd Top Speed? That's because how TDU was codded. Sadly, to get the gear ratios to work as they should, you must set the car's Top Speed as the top gear speed. Which means, the maximum speed that the final gear could achieve, regardless of it's power or drag. Usually, vehicles that have an "Overdrive gear" will display absurd values, since the last gear is really long, with the porpouse of fuel saving. Q. Ok, but why it is actually the Top Speed value is lower than the final gear speed? That's because TDU, by standard, adds around 10% more top speed. So, if a car final gear speed is 330 km/h, if you set as 300 km/h, in-game the car will reach 330 km/h. Now, if you set 330 km/h, the car will actually be faster than it should, and will reach 363 km/h. Deducting 10% of the speed makes not only the final gear accurate, but every gear will top at the correct speed, if your gear ratios are correct, which means the speed you need to shift will also be accurate. Q. Why the car classes are broken and i have overpowered vehicles for it's class? Because that was the easiest way i found to get these high-power tunes and keep the game "easily moddable". TDU will only understand a car class change if it reads a new entry on the database. That being said, i would need 4 entries in the car database, for 1 single vehicle, 1 entry being it stock, and 1 new entry for each tune kit. That means instead of 880 vehicles, i would need at least 3520. Not to mention that if someone decides to modify that 1 vehicle, they will need to modify the tuning its aswell. That not only means it would take a long time, but that it would make the game much more complex to be modded, so i used the original upgrade system, that's based on % increase of the base vehicle, but sadly, it doesn't support class changes. Q. The traffic in my game is being glitchy and invisible, what do i do? In the Project Paradise Laucher, make sure to enable V-Sync, to lock your fps to 60. The game won't do well with higher fps. Q. The game is displaying too much brightness, what i did wrong? Usually the dealerships display a higher brightness than the road environment. But also, that could be caused by FX Tweak being enabled in Project Paradise Launcher. TDU Platinum weather system was developed to not require FX Tweak, if you enable it in the launcher, it may override the weather files. Q. The physics have been changed, but they seem the same? That's because the physics engine is the same, but TDU allows each car to have their individual physics worked on, and that's what's been changed. To match real data, because TDU has messed it up even on the original game. Q. TDUPE is not working? Yes it is, but unfortunately i've stumbled across an issue i thought i would have. This issue happens when the database has over a thousand entries, which is the case, since TDU Platinum's database has 1105 entries. So, to use TDUPE, you must follow these steps: To run TDUPE, you must open it as admin. Point your TDU database directory in the settings and click load. Once it has loaded the database, search for the Custom Car you replaced in the car list. Modify and Click save. (That is when the problem starts.) Because TDUPE can't deal with more than 1000 entries in the database, it will make the game crash, to fix that issue, you must open TDU Modding Tools File Browser. Extract the CarPhysicsData.db, located inside the DB.bnk. Decrypt CarPhysicsData.db using TDU UT (this tool i did not provided, but it can be found on the forums) Open it using notepad and set the number of "Items" as 1105, save and close. Encrypt the file again, using TDU UT. Replace the new CarPhysicsData.db inside the DB.bnk. Q. Do i need the game or this is a standalone game? No! You need the game first, this is a mod and won't work on it's own.

  6. Hello! I am turning towards all the people who are well acquainted with TDU and know about it's different versions. The question itself if rather simple: I am planning to buy a physical copy of TDU, new or used (if in good condition), but I would definitely like to get the version that has the DLC (megapack) included. (For PC) From what I've read, there should be a "Gold Edition" DVD release, which has the megapack and Xbox cars included but Googling around and looking at Amazon/Ebay offers, I seem to be unable to determine which one it is (if it even is there). I have seen 3-4 different cover arts for the DVD as well as a Steelbook Edition but none have Gold Edition or anything similar written on them. So my question is: Does anyone perhaps happen to know how to distinguish the right version or what I should be looking for? I would be very grateful for any tips since the DLC is now unobtainable digitally and I would really like to have it, it is probably my favorite car game after all. Thank you in advance (EDIT: Just as a sidenote, I did read the forums as well before posting but all I could find were threads about buying the DLC online. Sadly, all those links are obsolete by now.)

  8. Sorry for my second help post in 3 days (should I be posting somewhere else?) but the music when I'm on the map doesn't play anymore. I never touched a setting to turn it off and I can't figure out how to turn it back on. Has anyone else had this problem? I think it's an issue with my gamesave because I get the music back when I switch to a backup.

  13. Greetings all, I've been inactive in the TDU communities for many years - but my love for the game has never faded. I occasionally pop in the disk to my PC and cruise around, albeit without online mode it doesn't have the some luster as it did. Granted I see that there are mods out there that have brought back online mode! :clap: Without getting to sentimental, let's go to the primary purpose of this thread: My current gaming machine is finally showing it's age, as such I'll be putting together a new rig and undoubtedly will be reinstalling TDU. My concern is I recall back in the days the TDU Megapack keys were limited to the number of uses, I still have my key saved in a .txt file should I need it, but I believe it was all server verified. Forward to today when the official servers and such are down, how would verification of the Megapack key work - and should the key no longer be valid is there a workaround?
  14. Hey, I'm not sure if it's the right forum, if not I'm sorry. I'm curious about your favorite/least favorite race/mission in TDU and why. Personally, I really like the island tour, the big challenge and beat the clock. All of these races are long, sort of challenging and let you see a lot of the island - also, all of them can be done in class B cars which I actually prefer because they are (sometimes) just as fast as the A class and easier to control - Jaguar XJ220 for example. The races I really dislike are the car deliveries with the Trans AM and the Cobra's concept, cause they takes FOREVER and you don't end up with an even number (I got slight OCD). Also, I really hate the branchu loop as well as fatal at-track-tion because of its extremely narrow timeframe and difficult turns. My nemesis in TDU is the pass of good hope though, as it's lalalalalalalala hard - tight corners without much vision after the apex, narrow timeframe and, worst of all, lots of traffic. Enough of my rant and praise, what about you?

And those fans and many like them will be delighted to hear that Bigben has plans to develop new titles in the Test Drive Unlimited franchise. We are more than confident with respect to the quality of this franchise, which is loved by so many players[...]Our teams are very enthusiastic at the idea of being able to work on this license, which has already proven its worth - the game Test Drive Unlimited 2 sold 1.8 million units. – Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben Interactive TDU 2 by many of the previous title’s fans was seen as a bit of a step back despite it’s second island location of Ibiza, improved graphics, roads quality and dynamic weather, because of the handling. In conclusion then it appears that the best blend for an open-world game is something with: authentic handling with options to tweak as player requires complete freedom great road quality – no stair like hills and blocks for kerbs support for keyboard, pads and wheels (clutch and shifter would be nice too) dynamic day/night & weather customisation to allow players to make the vehicles their own lovely engine sounds accurate details of car interiors and instruments So simply put: a mix between TDU/2 and The Crew’s environments + Forza Horizon handling + DRIVECLUB weather effects and vehicle detailing + Forza/NFS customisation + RaceRoom Racing Experience engine sounds. Ok to be honest, i had a top secret deal with TDU developers years ago before game came out you know, wich included, that they would make the dead autumn leaves, pushed arround by the wind, appear and dissapear like they want without any reason. Sorry for that. But it was neccessary for me, because i thought of replacing that leaves with something more let's say, ''alive'', later on, with gloworms :-). There, the disappearing and appearing is the case, when you see or not see the dark back of them, while they are moving. I allready forgot about it. Now yesterday and the day before i was very happy because of milli's new community pack. Was thinking of trying to create a game some what like TDU in the Unity Engine and make it free to play but i have so many idea's and kinda a plan but don't know where to start or how to code very well i have tryed to model before but didn't go very well. Was thinking sense TDU2 has such a big mod secne maybe some of you guys would love to help and create the one of a kind free roam racing game like tdu but much better. The idea's i had where like making car's customize-able from body kits to the wheels and ect. aswell as making a auction house so people could create custom car's and sell them. That's just one i wanted some opioins and see who would like me to help me and achieve something that could change the car game sense.

Hey, This is an old question, I asked people in random threads but I couldn't get an obvious answer, so I ask it here so that anyone (like me) who need the ultimate answer, could know the answer. Of course this won't happen unless you help and answer this question. The question is, how to have the 1.66 version of TDU and have its FFB support for (at least) G27 wheels simultaneously. The reason of keeping the 1.66 of TDU instead of 1.45 is the bug fixes specially sound fixes that the newer patch has. Otherwise we all know that TDU v1.45 is working fine with G27 wheels (apparently, as I haven't checked it with a wheel). Thanks in advance.
  21. Yo hello. So i don't know if i'm late with the news but i've just seen ReShade release 3.0 the past few days and it's phenomenal for me. It's got the easiest interface i've experienced so far for third party post processing programs and even installing it is very simplistic. No more SweetFX+Reshade. It's just one smooth mod. [ATTACH]27323[/ATTACH] I have also just started playing TDU 1, but i've already played TDU 2 so. I know, not cool. [ATTACH]27324[/ATTACH][ATTACH]27327[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]27326[/ATTACH][ATTACH]27328[/ATTACH] Theses first few photos are me fiddling with ReShade + the timescale mod which makes everything orange. The rest are without the timescale mod. [ATTACH]27329[/ATTACH] Just look at that beaut!! [ATTACH]27330[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]27331[/ATTACH] It does its job very well and the FPS loss is not noticable on my system (a mid-spec build), except only for processes like cartoonify. My settings have around 5 or more processes enabled. So then, to the main point of this post, because it's not just a gallery. ReShade 3.0 uses d3d9.dll. Which also happens to be the second file of only two files of TDU Project Paradise. I tried looking around for a way to get the two work together, and one was using EnbInjector, keeping TDUPP's .dll as the main and writing ReShade's .dll as a proxy library on the injector's .ini file. Which didn't work. There was also another workaround, which involves using the dinput8.dll, which seems to be an API loader, and store ReShade's files in a /scripts named folder. Unfortunately the community patch also uses dinput8.dll. I wonder how i can make this work? Besides. My game was also messed up by all the patches and mods, i am going to have to study how to install them properly first. Some cars and parts weren't showing up, and the game crashed frequently.
