Much better. The OEM GTI pedals match the silver trim bits on the GTI steering wheel and DSG shifter now.

Next step is a new stereo, followed by new wheels, I think. The rear spoiler from the SX model is also on the cards, but not really a priority. Suspension will also be looked at a bit down the track, next year some time. Way down the track i'll be looking at a 4A-GE swap- possibly supercharged (when i'm allowed to drive it, damn Australian licensing laws...).

 

For now its just looking good, and hopefully taking to the track every now and then (months apart, probably months away from my first track day) and keeping it registered/roadworthy. :)

How long are you planning on keeping it? Don't spend too much on it if you plan on upgrading once you get your full license (and/or a full time job), as you probably won't get your money back when you sell it. Mods aren't covered by insurance unless you tell them what you've added (which may increase your premiums somewhat).

 

Besides that looks good, drive safe (oh wait you're not in Melbourne :p) and have fun.

Im really not fussed on the paint, lol. I plan on keeping it for many a year. Im thinking of swapping the engine with a supercharged 4A-GE, like you'd find in an AE111 Levin/Trueno, when my license permits me to. I dont have full on insurance, so I dont know how much it matters, i'll ask my dad this evening, he works in insurance and should know what to do and how to go about it.

Each individual person has their own needs and wants really, even if they are a car enthausiast. Each to their own and all of that crap. Hell, what if they are an enthausiast but they've got a problem with their leg/foot which prevents them from driving a manual?
