Do you fancy scoring a TDU2 PC Beta key pretend chocolate-chip cookies for yourself? Do you know these forums inside out? This one is for you then :)

 

 

25 identical images of TDUCk have been littered around these forums (sorry). :cheeky: The first person to find each one scores a Beta code (will receive a PM near the end of the competition). Pre-existing posts will be edited to insert the image, so no-one will receive subscription update emails or the like. There's no need to go digging through the archives either (I'm not that cruel). :)

 

As soon as you find TDUCk, come back here, make sure no-one else has found the same one, and post the name and a link to the thread where TDUCk is hiding. We'll keep a list here of which ones have been found:

Hey there folks, thanks to the loooooovely people at Namco Bandai Partners it is with great excitement that we at TDUCk can announce a Beta code giveaway for this coming Saturday, the 23rd October 2010.

How do I get one of these well sought after codes I hear you ask? Well there are a few ways and they are easy so don't worry you can be a dumb as the staff here and still get your beaks on one. :D

 

Instructions

• To participate in the Beta you will need to be registered on the Official TDU2 Site and Community forums. You can do so by visiting this link: https://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/user/register Follow the instructions and make sure you put in a valid email and take note of your username and display name etc.
   
  
• Next you will have to enter your Beta key in order to be able to gain access to the Beta forums. Do this by following this link and then entering in your key: PSTDirect Beta Forum Link: http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/enter_key
   
  
• Once you have done the above and followed the Beta info section, click back to the main page http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com and you will see the Beta navigation option, click this and you will be able to access the Beta forums.
  

Note: Do not post anything about the Beta anywhere except the Beta forums, which you will gain access to on successful Registration and Entering of your Beta Key. Again DO NOT POST IN THE PUBLIC FORUMS.

PS: A Beta is not the game, it is a small part of the game that requires testing and reporting back to the developers about what bugs, glitches or problems you may have experienced. Taking part in the Beta means you want to help make TDU 2 the best game it can be and you can only do this by testing and not only playing. Playing this game isn't an option as you don't get to keep your progress or anything you have unlocked for the final game. You may also find having to restart the game or losing your progress happens and these are the things Betas are designed to find and then fix. Having a grasp of the English language is also beneficial and saves time with reports and support, plus remember to always read the threads that ask you to do so. Also remember the Beta is not how or what the final end product will end up being so don't judge the game fully via it.

It is for the stresstest, so for you it won't make a difference or give you another key since you already have one ;) What happens with these keys after the stresstest, one can only guess.
