No Ferrari 458 in Xbox 360 TDU2??

That's just stupid. Because if you want PC/PS3 version of TDU2 and you didn't pre-order the game with Casino Online bonus, the only Spyker left in game is... Peking to Paris.

Good point, one I'd not considered.

I doubt, even as a compensation, that a popular car like the 458 will be a free car.

Hmm maybe, since they weren't allowed the license for the Xbox 360 version meaning they'd likely have to buy it if they were ever allowed to include it.

Dang, I forgot about C12 Zagato. But still, that's stupid, because Zagato is soo ugly noone will drive it.

Which also means the Xbox doesn't really have a car that the other platforms don't/can't have. A hardtop version of a car, woo.

I recall someone mentioning how the r8 coupe originally was going to be a no show because of Forza 3 being promoted and what not. Now we know it is in the game. So do we simply have to wait for Forza 4 to have its way with the 458 and then pass it on to us via DLC? Makes sense to me given that they clearly have it modeled and ready to go. i will cling to this hope.

The only thing Atari has accomplished by any of this is the PC Game will probably sell a bit better...not enough to make a dent though. I'll probably get the PC version and the Xbox version. Why? Modding.

Given that Forza 3 has been cracked for cars, it's only a matter of time before TDU 2 starts getting some of the Forza 3 cars and a bunch of old cars get ported in...if someone can find a way to add the number of cars in the game, theoretically you'll have a very large mod base...

You guys are correct, it's not Eden's fault for the car not being in the game, that's a given. I meant they need some backlash for not telling us, if they had told us when the carlist was announced I would have shrugged it off, but since they hid it and only told once someone had the retail copy in their hands, they deserve all the consequences from this. It's piss poor business on their part.

Who was actually first in this whole deal, MS with making the 458 exclusive or Atari obtaining the license for use in TDU2?

If Atari was first they could charge MS ridiculous amounts of money for making the 458 an MS exclusive, enough money to compensate the removal of the 458 with far better cars.

Although I'm a PS3 Player, I think its wrong! A Car like the 458, although i'm not a fan of it, should'd been said that its not in the 360 edtion! If it was somthing such as the Alfa Mito then I doubt there would be much fuss.

Personally, No Spyker 8C for the PS3 is a little downer, but I guess getting it from the Casino will have a little bit of a 'show-off' effect since It's one of two!

Anyways, chance that future DLC could be effected by this sort of thing? As MS do seem to have a thing about blocking stuff from what i've read(Forza only 360 game with the 458, yet on the PS3 theres GT5, TDU2 and a few otheres with it). Heres hoping not! for example when the 458 Spyder is unveailed(Which wont be long) Will that be bloacked from the 360 because its a 458?

and now for the fanboy talk, cyas in my 458!*

*not really, I'm not a fan of it! And I'm joking, i'm not a fanboy!...Well not that much.

Couldn't agree more.

amen. i see that they were worried about losing even more sales but come ON. getting a reputation of hiding stuff from your fan base is not smart :fp:

This is exactly it, had this come to light 1+ month(s) before the release fair enough there would be people venting and such but then the hatred would turn on M$ or people would just be like "ah well, nothing can be done about it" but to wait this long ...in fact wait it's not actually Eden or Atari telling us this it was GALOP1N an ex-Eden employee so in effect we weren't even told and may not have been until we had the game ourselves.

Now that is just abysmal.

I hate to say it, but the action is just as bad as the way T10 treated their community when they released that "Ultimate Edition" and screwed us all over. Luckily the consequence isn't quite as severe with it only being one car, but it is a very important car.

Turn 10 is M$ so it's in their nature to screw over their customers. They announced the F458 as DLC 3 weeks before the game came out remember and also don't forget the whole only matchmaking crap that only came to light when people bought the game.

The last straw for me was spending $200 over the course of the game and then being told if I wanted some of the really good cars I'd have to buy a whole new game even though I have all the DLC already. So I went out and traded it in on GT5. :)
