Umm nobody, especially a modder, is going to spend £60 on a 3D model unless they are proffessionals needing models of all kinds for their job. Modding games is a hobby and for the enjoyment of making a game better. All modders know this.

 

This is TDU2... its getting on a bit now, was never a blockbuster like Skyrim and to expect any money for modding it is absurd and sad.

 

Also, StarGT is yet again advertising pay only mods on this free mod sharing website directing people to his virus hub. I can't believe he hasnt been banned yet this has been going on for far too long now.

 

Also, i'm skeptical about his argument about his wonderful free models. If 3D models are so expensive, how did he aqcuire the Macan and 918? Were they stolen? Because if I spent £60 on a model, I would expect some sort of return... unless i had more money than sense.

We all know, that by far most mods were taken from other games like NfS, Forza or other games.

 

And I don't get the point, how to expect "big" money from selling mods to a few people. ...

U can make more money by selling newspapers at a street corner in a hour.

 

Perhaps i should also start taking some subscriptions on my website for others to join/login.

It did cost me tons of hours to make all the pics, for example

thats what i think too, it's useless to do mods and require some money for them, the same with vip mods... i would say there arent more then 20 people who pay for them.

if you think you get enough money with them, do it, but dont be suprised when no one wants to download your mods anymore...

On another note, @tduchicken ... small thing, can you when you release mods, tint the side windows a slight bit .. like not pitch limo dark black .. just a slight tint. Better then just clear .. granted most people drive with the window down so i guess it isnt a big thing, but a slightly dark window is nice.
