This was't recently, start of the month, but only just found the photo now on my phone.

Think it was an early DB9 or it's a DB7...going by another equally badly taken photo on a mates phone.

Long story short, I was out in town the night I took this....so you can guess the rest as to why I don't remember taking it :lol:

california is one of those few convertible like that I actually like

 

What I like is that it's the entry-level ferrari and it still beats a DBS Volante :D

I'd still have the DBS anyday of the week though, not a hard choice.

 

Never been a huge fan of the California, it's always lacked the Ferrari styling, it just doesn't look Italian, plus it has a trout pout.

Never good to see classics in this state. The Granada was one of the Essex V6's as well.

 

I thought the Essex was a crappy engine. I know they were an option on my 91 Taurus (and well into the mid-90's), but mine had the 3.0 Vulcan V6.

Back in the 60's/70's Europe it was something. The best thing to having a Muscle car engine here in the EU...well not including a Rover V8. Was used in top fords(Grandas & Carpis) as well as AC, TVR' & the Scimitar.

As far as I know the engine stopped getting made for EU when fuel injection became the norm.

Spotted it today, not the best of the qualities but works for me... The first I ever see here in Argentina!

 

 

It looks mean! Normally see them in yellow or red, but in black it looks evil! :)

You think that's bad? Theres a Chrysler PT Cruiser in Aberdeen that's black, lowered, stupidly big chrome rims and chrome...chrome EVERYWHERE!

A Full rally prepped Evo 5 drove past my house. Going to keep an eye out for it again.

 

My Guess is that it's someone getting ready for the Granite City Rally in a few weeks. (and yours truly will again be attending for the 7th year running.)
