Bond is a huge part in most childrens childhood in Britain, and still very popular elsewhere too, so I was wondering what everyone's favourite bond film is? Anyone got a least favourite film? Favourite bond girl? Favourite theme tune?[/h]

 

I have included a list of all the bond films below in order from newest to oldest, to the pedants among us, I have included Never Say Never again because to the lesser nerdy people they'll still view it as a bond film.

They're all much the same to me, really. Just the special effects have improved over time.

 

Die Another Day if I have to pick one (that was the one with the boat chase then the invisible Aston in the snow, right?)

They're all similarly awesome, their plots sometimes do get confusing to differentiate between though.

 

The world is not enough is the one with the boat scene I presume you're referring to, but yes Die Another Day has the invisible Vanquish.

Favorite cars: Aston DB5, Vanquish, DBS, Citroen 2CV, BMW Z8, Lotus Esprit.

Most of them are brilliant films but I'd have to say one of the earlier films would have to be my favourite due to the awesome special effects. :lol:

It's between Goldeneye and Skyfall, some of them are a bit boring to be honest, but maybe that's just cause I'm too young to understand :p

 

Love the Lotus in Spy Who Loved Me though.

While searching for some memorable scenes from the Bond films I came across the attempts by the stunt man of this infamous one from Live and Let Die. Spoilers obviously if you haven't seen it as it's a hell of a scene.

The answer you're all really looking for is The Spy Who Loved Me, It's just got everything you need from a bond film, awesome

, great plot (submarine kidnapping), great bondcar (the submarine lotus), great villain (and JAWS!), great bond girl (she's now married to a BEATLE).

Hard one to pick really. Pierce Brosnan pick of the modern Bond's and Sean Connery for the classic's.

 

Worst film for me? Casino Royal. Seemed more like it could be any generic espionage movie and as a result I never seen Quantum of Solace.

Best? Die another day or Gold Finger, although Dr. No is high up.

 

Bond girl? In no order,: Christmas Jones (World is not enough) & Honey Ryder (Dr. No) spring to mind

 

Worst Car? the DBS....why? No gadgets other than a de-fib kit. I mean what use is that when being chased?

And Best Car? The Esprit's and Vanquish. Although like everyone, a special spot for the DB5. And special mentions to the Vantage, Sumbeam Alpine and Toyota 2000GT drop top.
