GEAR.Club: a mobile racing game by Eden Games

Edit: FALSE ALERT! it is just a mobile game with some closed tracks, and NOT an open world racer! :(

 

The guys at Eden Games are on the loose again.

Somehow they managed to develope another game called GEAR.Club with the possibility to customize your cars.

The map looks like it came directly from "Phantasialand". ;-)

Unfortunately it's not an OWR, it's just an ordinary mobile game. I got fooled by the image of the 'world map' on its HP and the stated game features such as 'realistic driving experience'.

Sorry for this false alarm, it won't happen again. ;-)

I've played this quite a lot recently

Really like it. Nice and simple to play, great looking. The best racing/driving game I've played on my smartphone so far.

This game seems to be doing really well and there's some proper support for it too! They've just posted that rallying is coming to it!

Sadly my 6s suffers from the battery problems Apple has had recently, I can only play games reliably when I'm charging it. Which sort of goes against the term 'mobile' game. It looks great though, will try it out sooner or later.

If it's pretty decent it'll be a shame Eden haven't pushed it as much as CSR do their racing apps, those ads were everywhere.

That actually looks pretty damn good, mobile games have come on so far. And that environment definitely has the Eden Games feel to it. I'll have to give this a go :hmmm:

And yeah @TIMELESS that video does make it look not too bad at all. They never seem to be able to nail down that wheel at high speed effect though. :)

Indeed, playing on a shield k1 tablet and it's pretty well made. Having fun with it!

I miss open world, though :)

The rally expansion is not that good... although drifting is much easier now.

I have DL it and I did the first championship, this free game seems really good, it really looks like TDU I think and it seems easy at the begining, nice moment with it (but there are many many loadings, and recover car can take many times)

 

(i play on a sony z5, and it runs perfectly, have not seen bug for the moment)

It plays well on my Galaxy S7, too. It's just hard for me to play games like this as I'm just so used to open world driving games or games with actual race tracks.

So, after a week to play, I really enjoy about this free game, I did many championship and money is easy to win and the total progress into the game is easy, there are many races and have not need to buy something with real money for the moment

 

It seems like a tdu, some sound are the same (350z for example) and i have not the impression to do a new game, it seems like and addition to tdu to do races in nice roads circuits,

 

It makes very goods impression for a totally free game, my favorite in android

Yeah I hope that is something like that @BeSweeet, but I am capable to buy this kind of game on PC, and I really surprise about the quality, the fun, and the originality of this game I have not yet doing multiplayer races with other people, but i think there will be funny
