  1. No, unfortunatelly. By the way, the update, yes, it's being cooked still. I know, it's been a long time, but the project ain't dead guys.

  2. News Update: August 2024 Long time no see, eh? It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 months since our last news update, and you bet a lot has changed over this time, so without further ado, let’s get caught up, and then discuss what’s coming next! What’s the latest? We’ve made several updates to pretty much everything since we last published any news, let’s start with what you see the most… TDU World Launcher + (Un)Installer Since our last news update, the bundled Installer, which doubles up as our uninstaller, has been tweaked several times based on public feedback to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible. Post the initial v1.0 release, we’ve released multiple patches to bring us to Launcher v1.0.2.5. To sum everything up: UI elements and messages were improved to prevent bugs with how things showed up on screen and intermittent issues with things not responding properly We’ve improved our language support with help from the community We improved our installation detection, improving reliability if you installed TDU2 correctly and ran it at least once! We reimplemented UPNP support on top of our NAT Detection code to ensure that we can correctly report your connection reliability for connecting to other players And finally, we’ve ironed out any bugs that caused general reliability issues, and false positive reports on NAT, and Game Installs. TDU World Mod Packs The TDU World Base Pack received a few bug fixes after our last news update, most notably: A Camera issue was resolved which was causing the game to crash when referencing Camera Database. The Chevrolet Camaro Synergy Special Edition was introduced to the Ibiza US South Showroom The Nissan 370Z price was increased from $3,300 to $33,000 The Male “Eden Hawaii Shirt” was patched to stop it being transparent. Fixed an issue with the Clothing Database that was causing Haircuts to crash the game/break saves. The TDU World Car Pack was released with positive responses from the community after a very long wait, and for the most part only one issue was identified and resolved with the Jaguar XJ 220, where it had misaligned damage and door panels. TDU World Servers for Test Drive Unlimited 2 Onto the Server Updates! Notice we said “Servers”? That’s right. As of December 2023, the TDU World Servers for PS3 have also been opened to the public. When we released the PS3 Server, we made a promise to the community to continue working with a preference on the PC Server. This means that the PS3 edition sometimes falls behind in terms of features and bug fixes, but once we’re absolutely sure that it is working correctly on the PC first, we then port over to the PS3 edition. If you want to find out more on the PS3 Server, check out the TDU World Discord. We will update the website as the server continues to mature. The changes highlighted below are available on both the PC and PS3 editions of TDU2. Time and Weather We finally cracked the code on how TDU2 calculates and synchronizes in game time with the server and other players, allowing us to have a stable day/night cycle across both islands. The decision was made to permanently set the Weather to “Sunny” until further notice, as the original cycle we had that made it possible to achieve all the photo opportunities across both islands was deemed too difficult to work around when trying to race. We appreciate everyone’s feedback on the weather system and hope to work with the community in the future to get a perfect balance that mostly everyone can enjoy. Leaderboards Further work was carried out to identify and implement a majority of TDU2’s Single and Multiplayer event Leaderboards. We implemented support for all the Casino Leaderboards, every Single and Multiplayer event in Ibiza, and have continued working on implementing the leaderboards for Hawaii, too. For now, only the initial Single Player Leaderboards in Hawaii are guaranteed to be working as expected, however we aim to have the rest finished soon. News The in-game News Services that keep you updated on what your friends are doing, what’s going on in your Club, and with the Racing Centre have been implemented and are fully supported on the TDU World Servers. With this update, we also implemented the notifications that allow Staff members to nudge you or broadcast when the server is about to go offline, which are considered pretty important! This system is also used for moderation, so if you get yourself banned from any aspect of online (minus a permanent, or full ban), you will see what you’ve been banned from each time you load the game. Lobbying Throughout the months, we’ve continued to monitor data around connectivity between players and the Lobbying System in general. Through trial by fire, we have stabilized lobbies significantly and implemented improved algorithms along the way to help players get connected and stay connected whilst cruising in free roam, as long as you either have port 8889 Forwarded or UPNP Enabled on your Network. Support for “Location-Based” Lobbies was also implemented, making sure that you’re more likely to be paired with drivers that are relatively close to you rather than across the other side of the Island. Race Lobbies were also improved, with bugs around joining/leaving races being resolved quickly allowing everyone to enjoy Ranked, Unranked Races, and Mini Games. We also released support for the Invite/Tracking System, which allows you to invite or join any friends, or recent players who are online and you’re able to connect to. Club Houses Our next focus was on improving the Club House functionality we had released previously. A few things were updated to improve reliability for the Club Members lists and we cracked support for up to 32 players in a fully upgraded Club House, and we started a set of 5 fully upgraded “Official TDU World” Club Houses to allow people to use the Club Vehicles as a temporary measure until we release Club VS Club Races. Support for the “Join a Club” feature was also released. My TDU Life Towards the end of 2023, we released full support for “MyTDULife”, which finally allowed players to: Take Avatar Pictures and set them as their Profile Picture, Featured Pictures, or House Photos View, and select from up to 8 “MyTDULife” stats to show on your profile from: General and Enhanced Profile: Your general Stats as shown in the mini profile Competition, Collection, Discovery and Social: Your total Level/XP Driver/User "About You": Several Profile Specific Statistics ClubHouse: Shows a quick overview of the Club Stats TDU Addiction: Tell someone how much you love TDU! Vehicles: Most Driven Car/Riden Bike, Fastest Speed Achieved Free Ride: See how far someone has driven Casino: Poker, Roulette, Slot Machines and General Stats TDU2: Casino Online TDU2 just isn’t the same without its Casino Online DLC, and we’ve made several advancements to ensure we bring the most enjoyable experience to the table. Slot Machines The Slot Machines have been spun vigorously since their initial release by quite a few players on the servers, which helped us to identify and fix several bugs around the Payouts and winning result calculations across all the machines. The Video Poker machine also got a total rewrite to help demonstrate and gather data for a future Poker release, but we’ll cover that later. Finally, the Classic Jackpot + Winners sign was implemented, which allows us to mark the Slot Machines Room as “Feature Complete”! Roulette After months of scratching our heads, we finally figured out and implemented everything needed to get the Roulette Rooms working in the TDU Casino. The complete Roulette experience was achieved in record time vs the other areas of the project thanks to extensive testing by the team, and at this stage we consider this room also “Feature Complete”. What’s coming next? Now that we’re all up to date on the latest TDU World changes, let’s talk about what’s coming next! TDU World Mod Packs The TDU World Mod Packs will be getting a significant update that will be released today! (17th August 2024) The Base Pack update will contain many of the changes outlined below for compatibility, but the Car Pack will still be a separate item to install if you haven’t done so already. Over time, we will also improve the palette of previously added vehicles. In the end, we want to give you the best, complete and coherent version of TDU2. This game deserves it. Thank you for all your suggestions on our Discord channel and keep them coming. It’s a demanding task to please everybody but we will do our best in the upcoming future. TDU World Servers As we look forward to the future with the TDU World Game Servers for PC and PS3, we’re pleased to announce the following items will be released today (August 17th 2024) Friends As part of this update we have resolved the issues previously experienced with Friends Lists. TDU World’s Servers now support up to 100 friends (the in game limit), and no longer bug out if you do manage to hit the limit. Leaderboards The remaining leaderboards across Hawaii’s Single Player events have been identified and brought live as of this news release. This marks the completion of Leaderboard implementation on the TDU World Servers. TDU2: Casino Online We’re pleased to announce that after several months of long nights scratching our heads and working with our testers, we’ve finally cracked the code on Poker! The Casino Services across TDU World have had a major rewrite to allow us to reopen ALL the Cash Game Poker rooms, allowing everyone to rank up to VIP and unlock special cocktails and achievements previously considered unobtainable. For now, only the Cash Game Poker rooms will be available. The Sit & Go Public/Private Rooms, and the Poker Tournament rooms including spectators views are currently a “Work in Progress” and we hope to be able to release them soon. Alongside the release of Cash Game Poker, this release also contains a significant rewrite to the Casino Code which is still ongoing. Optimizations are being worked on every month to ensure we bring the best experience possible to the table (pun intended ). Other Features As we look to the future of the TDU World Servers, several features that are still classed as “Work in Progress”, including but not limited to the unreleased Racing Centres and Club VS Club Races, and much more are being worked on each month and tested with the Alpha Team to ensure we are able to complete our goal of a feature complete game server for TDU2 completely from scratch. We will continue to prioritize efforts based on whatever is causing the most negative effects to the TDU2 Online Experience, according to community feedback, starting with another major review of the Connectivity code (Lobbying in particular) to help get people connected to cruise, and ultimately participate in events across Ibiza and Hawaii. As always, you can check the TDU World Website for the latest rundown on what’s supported and you can also keep up to date on the absolute latest as we continue to release incremental tweaks and major updates on a regular basis and provide news to our community on the TDU World Discord. 3. Time to re-discover the island of Oahu. TDU Platinum pursue the objective to be more than a collection of many different mods in a pack, the objective is to deliver a whole new experience, a whole new way to play with endless possibilities to choose at your own demand, ready to go. The work being done is beyond the gathering of different vehicles, sounds and gauges from different online websites and packing them together, it goes further to new physics, brand new weather, compatible with HDiR, new world textures and also new music for background and radio statios. Why does some vehicles display an absurd Top Speed? That's because how TDU was codded. Sadly, to get the gear ratios to work as they should, you must set the car's Top Speed as the top gear speed. Which means, the maximum speed that the final gear could achieve, regardless of it's power or drag. Usually, vehicles that have an "Overdrive gear" will display absurd values, since the last gear is really long, with the porpouse of fuel saving. Q. Ok, but why it is actually the Top Speed value is lower than the final gear speed? That's because TDU, by standard, adds around 10% more top speed. So, if a car final gear speed is 330 km/h, if you set as 300 km/h, in-game the car will reach 330 km/h. Now, if you set 330 km/h, the car will actually be faster than it should, and will reach 363 km/h. Deducting 10% of the speed makes not only the final gear accurate, but every gear will top at the correct speed, if your gear ratios are correct, which means the speed you need to shift will also be accurate. Q. Why the car classes are broken and i have overpowered vehicles for it's class? Because that was the easiest way i found to get these high-power tunes and keep the game "easily moddable". TDU will only understand a car class change if it reads a new entry on the database. That being said, i would need 4 entries in the car database, for 1 single vehicle, 1 entry being it stock, and 1 new entry for each tune kit. That means instead of 880 vehicles, i would need at least 3520. Not to mention that if someone decides to modify that 1 vehicle, they will need to modify the tuning its aswell. That not only means it would take a long time, but that it would make the game much more complex to be modded, so i used the original upgrade system, that's based on % increase of the base vehicle, but sadly, it doesn't support class changes. Q. The traffic in my game is being glitchy and invisible, what do i do? In the Project Paradise Laucher, make sure to enable V-Sync, to lock your fps to 60. The game won't do well with higher fps. Q. The game is displaying too much brightness, what i did wrong? Usually the dealerships display a higher brightness than the road environment. But also, that could be caused by FX Tweak being enabled in Project Paradise Launcher. TDU Platinum weather system was developed to not require FX Tweak, if you enable it in the launcher, it may override the weather files. Q. The physics have been changed, but they seem the same? That's because the physics engine is the same, but TDU allows each car to have their individual physics worked on, and that's what's been changed. To match real data, because TDU has messed it up even on the original game. Q. TDUPE is not working? Yes it is, but unfortunately i've stumbled across an issue i thought i would have. This issue happens when the database has over a thousand entries, which is the case, since TDU Platinum's database has 1105 entries. So, to use TDUPE, you must follow these steps: To run TDUPE, you must open it as admin. Point your TDU database directory in the settings and click load. Once it has loaded the database, search for the Custom Car you replaced in the car list. Modify and Click save. (That is when the problem starts.) Because TDUPE can't deal with more than 1000 entries in the database, it will make the game crash, to fix that issue, you must open TDU Modding Tools File Browser. Extract the CarPhysicsData.db, located inside the DB.bnk. Decrypt CarPhysicsData.db using TDU UT (this tool i did not provided, but it can be found on the forums) Open it using notepad and set the number of "Items" as 1105, save and close. Encrypt the file again, using TDU UT. Replace the new CarPhysicsData.db inside the DB.bnk. Q. Do i need the game or this is a standalone game? No! You need the game first, this is a mod and won't work on it's own.

  6. Hey 32qYVQdH! You've come to the right place. I guess Turboduck is the only remaining big TDU community and is the home of a lot top tier modders. I think I had the same problem and you indeed need the https://ntcore.com/4gb-patch/. You can read up on the backgrounds but the TLDR is that otherwise the game can only allocate 1.5 GiB of virtual address space. And PiX has an overhead, while TDU certainly had been trimmed to exactly ride the 1.5GiB border. What you can also do is inspect the capture using the 64bit PiX application and/or trying to 4GB patch the 32bit one, I think that was also a problem. FWIW TDU contains the shaders as blobs in the application, whereas TDU2 has dedicated .sob files. Furthermore static analysis will help you understand tdu1's rendering whereas tdu2 is using some xbox derived command list abstraction where it's building a linked list of "commands" that are then implemented by some backend that polls the list. Probably not the case here, but remember that asserts kind of compile to: if (IsDebuggerPresent()) { __asm int 3; // maybe there's a WinAPI function for that too } Actually, that's probably a give away for you of where anti debug resides anyway, so you can get rid of it. Cracks. Since the game is abandonware, there's probably no legit (i.e. requiring activation) version floating around anymore anyway, and depending on the crack (maybe there's multiple "vendors") they may have removed the DRM protection more or less. Could just hook it to "return false", but yeah there's a lot more Anti Debug techniques. Besides that, do a lot of static analysis and maybe try to fiddle with some less mainstream functions. Generally, DRM will only try to monitor protection worthy functions, as everything else will become too expensive.

  8. View File Ford Mustang GT-R Concept Sound Mod Sound mod for the Mustang GT-R Concept. Will be moved to a sound pack in the future. I decided to release this now as it is finished and the other vehicles in the pack will take much longer to complete and I don't know when that will happen. The Mustang GT-R Concept was equipped with the, then brand new, 5.0L "Cammer" V8 racing engine. Developed for the Ford SVT/Performance parts catalogue in conjunction with the Ford Racing division to be the heart of the new Mustang FR500 and made available as a crate engine. The 5.0L Cammer was first shown in the Mustang GT-R. While the concept car was never meant to be produced in any way, it was fully functional and race ready. The GT-R was equipped with a unique near straight through exhaust system that was never produced, either for production vehicles or the parts catalogue. Styled after racing cars and the uniqueness of the GT-R's setup. Features decel resonance, backfire, and volume adjusted gear whine. Note: For the time being the cabin audio is slightly incorrect. The game thinks the car has windows but does not allow them to be opened. This is not fixable by a sound mod. TDUF must be used to either allow the windows to be opened or set the Body value to Roadster (value: 5666317) to not have them. Easily back up original sounds by renaming them x_audiobackup.bnk. Install to Euro\Bnk\Sound\Vehicules, replace when prompted. Three stage style progression; from the lightly tuned stock Supra which includes TRD high flow exhaust and a vent to atmosphere blowoff valve, a street spec modified style with more aggressive details, up to the wild and powerful max spec as used in the Abflug variant. Each stage with their own flair and detail. Multi stage turbo spool and unique detail sounds for each. Apologies for the long delay in this upload. Real life drama and loss of data prevented a timely release. No ETA on the next project yet for various reasons, but there will be more! 18. You're gonna have to use a no CD patch, I'm surprised the game can even launch on windows 10 as it uses SecuROM DRM which IIRC isn't even officially supported anymore, so it shouldn't be expected to work on a recent OS, TDU Platinum probably include a no CD patch that's probably why it fixes it.

Features: Fully remade torque curve using data from a real 2JZ-GTE dyno sheet. Handling characteristics reflect a hypothetical TRD edition IS300 based on parts interchangeability from other Toyota products and available TRD upgrades. Balanced and tested as high performing E class against vehicles such as Mercedes CLK and RX7 Type R. Installation: Extract Euro folder to TDU install directory. Overwrite when asked. Import IS300retuneV2.mini.json to car slot 656 using TDUF. Drive car! Notes: Vehicle handling was set up using the modified torque curve. Using one without the other may have in unexpected results. BTRQ can be used on other cars with the 2JZ-GTE engine but may not work correctly on high horsepower tune levels. Thank you! Submitter BlakeBelladonna Submitted 06/25/2024 Category Vehicle

  25. I've Googled for hours, like I said, and I've yet to see more than a single unanswered soul ask about it. And, like I said, it's only given me a problem on this primary computer of mine, not the laptop. The laptop loads the map just fine. --- Post Updated --- So, everyone, I found the culprit. Get ready for this silly crap... It was the controls. Specifically, binding the map's controls for left, right, up and down to the controller breaks the map. Looks like I'll need to use the mouse for the map, which isn't a big deal. But there we go everyone. It's literally that damned stupid. I figured it out, btw, by uninstalling the game, wiping the registry, reinstalling... still wasn't working. So I pulled my save game out of the folder, and started anew. The map was working. Then, seeing it was working and figuring the save game had perhaps just corrupted, I started mapping the controls again to my controller, went to the map, and it broke. So I defaulted the controls, checked, and the map was working again. Sat there and added each control in, one by one, until I found the culprit. And I'm just stunned. It's such a stupid, nonsensical reason for a game map to stop working...

  26. At this point it would be easier to attempt to rip the 3D models in Xenia... Ninja Ripper 2 can rip from Xenia although it requires a newer version of Ninja Ripper 2 which requires a paid key to use. A free and much more safer way to rip is with Intel GPA however I'm not sure if it can rip from xenia as i tested it and from what it seems it only works on DirectX11 games and earlier (xenia builds use Vulkan?) once it rips them the meshes are all separate and need to be reattached and resized correctly and textures can be exported however it doesn't export UV data from the meshes.... A custom CMD script is required to extract the UV data from the meshes that is on GITHUB... Renderdoc can also apparently rip meshes but i haven't tried it yet but some people say that can rip meshes too... However it seems that Intel GPA doesn't set antivirus alarms off like Ninja Ripper and Renderdoc.... The problem here is that Xenia uses Vulkan and only some rippers support it for intel GPA to work correctly it would need a DX11 build of Xenia to work properly... Might attempt to rip with Intel GPA but at most it could rip is the textures and meshes if I'm lucky. Here's an example as to how Intel GPA rips.... Textures are stored in Drawindexed and can be exported.... 350Z Roadster and Dino 246 GTS should be the easiest to export and port over as you just need the convertible parts and use the normal non convertible variants as a base. Solstice could use the Saturn Sky as a base as the cars share platforms.. Diablo GT maybe could use the Countach as a base A4 Touring car,Truimph Daytona 955i and Cadillac Sixteen don't have anything similar so you'd be on your own....

View File Dodge Viper R/T10 Slightly late to the party but better late than never, eh? Happy New Year! To celebrate 2025 the snake year (Chinese calendar moment), here goes a big red 'Murican one. Enjoy! Features: - proper second LOD, - 1 rim option, - working doors and interior dials, - interior colors (to be set in the database), - no windows, - performance data (not that well calibrated, I'm not that good at it), - might add a roof later but I care about it as much as this thing does about your safety. Known issues: - the driver's head goes slightly too high, - the second LOD is not great. Please let me know if you find any other ones! Attention! 30. Hey guys, what's up! --- SKIP TO THE END FOR INSTRUCTIONS AND QUICK GUIDE --- After some time of research, I couldn't find any proper fix for the Map controls on the PC TDU. For those not aware, the PC version of TDU has a major issue with controllers on the map because, as it seems, they were lazy or out of time to make adjustments to it. You see, it works just fine if you're using a mouse. The orange target on the Map Screen will always follow the mouse cursor on the screen. However, whenever you use a joystick, you control only the orange target and the cursor doesn't hide itself, so if your try to interact with the map, for some reason, the game needs both mouse and target to be placed on your target, so it doesn't work right. So, I created a Steam controller preset meant for any controllers with a touchpad like DS4/Dualsense meant to fix the map controls on PC. Having extra buttons for Mic or extra features like Gyro will be a plus, but not required. Unfortunately, since I don't own a original copy on Steam, it was done as a Non-Steam game, so if you have a original copy it's most likely that it won't show up as a community preset. So if it doesn't appear, you will need to use the preset URL on the instructions on your browser to apply it. I've used the official Xbox 360 console mapping as a reference since the PS2 used X/Square for accelerating and braking, which feels weird on controllers that don't support pression sensibility nowadays on regular buttons. Also, soon, I will work on a modern approach mapping and will probably use TDU:SC, Forza, and GT. Please leave your feedback on the comments. This comment bellow is where I realized I would have to do something like this myself 'cus I didn't have access to the original game on Steam to see the community presets. The text above is about the old mapping, so you know how it worked. I had several issues with it because even though I tried most of the time to make the change between the sets automatic whenever you opened a menu or map, it was pretty much impossible to do it because of all the variables and the game won't allow you to map the same button to different things. We can call it a Beta or 0.1 if you wish. So, I came up with the one below (Release or 1.0, yes, I plan on update this one and create other variants lol). == DEFINITIVE JOYSTICK MAP CONTROLS FIX == -- DS4/Dualsense (Or any controller with Touchpad) - Original TDU tweaked mapping 1.0 (Release) -- The easiest and most intuitive way I've found, that wouldn't cause any confusion or mess during the gameplay, was to apply a easy and accessible shortcut to change the mapping preset, instead of trying to apply it in a dynamic way on the default mapping. So what I did is to apply this shortcut to the Right and Left Touchpad presses. How does it work? There are two main presets. MENU set, and DRIVING set. If you press Left Touchpad, it will change to MENU set. If you press Right Touchpad, it will change to DRIVE set. Simple as that. Most of the mapping remains as the default for the game, and what it actually changes are just how the Sticks, Triggers and Touchpad will work. On the MENU set, the Left Stick will control both mouse and map target. This means you can now easily set GPS Routes and whatever you wish. For this I had to do through the Right and Left Mouse Buttons because applying them along with Y/△ and X/▢ buttons would mess up the camera controls when on View mode on a dealership. So if you want to set a GPS Route, you press the R3, and if you want to Confirm, you can press either A/✘, L3 or Right Touchpad Press. So Mouse controls are also set to the Right Touchpad the mouse itself (I tried with Gyro too but didn't enjoy much), being the Right Touchpad Press the Left Mouse Button and Double Touch the Right Mouse Button. Plus, Left and Right triggers are mapped to the Mouse Wheel so you can Zoom In and Out on the map, as well as easily scroll on the menus (Turbo is on by default just for the ease of access). Pressing the Left Touchpad will switch to the DRIVING set. On the DRIVING set, as you can expect, everything is just like the original mapping, except for a few changes. Since we can't map the same button for a variety of options, I had to work around this issue for Map and Chronopack, for instance. Both are set to the Right D-Pad on the original Mapping, so if you want to open the Map, just Double Press Right D-Pad, and if you want to open the Chronopack, you just press it. I couldn't put as hold because hold is applied on the ingame default, and unchangeable mapping, to skip the radio song. I also mapped the Mic button to open the Chat and virtual keyboard for easy chatting. Plus, I've put several auxiliary menus directly to a custom wheel menu set to the Right Touchpad and a shortcut to turn Gyro ON to the L3/LS. If you will use Gyroscope (It will work both for steering and leaning on bikes), remember to turn the Wheel on in the options for the best experience. Right Touchpad on Center custom wheel will change to MENU set. ==== | HOW TO SETUP | ==== --- Joystick buttons translations --- -- Xbox -- D-Pad = POV A = 0 B = 1 X = 2 Y = 3 Left Bumper = 4 Right Bumper = 5 View = 6 Menu = 7 LS = 8 RS = 9 Left Thumbstick = Stick 1 Right Thumbstick = Stick 2 Left Trigger = Stick 1 Forward Right Trigger = Stick 1 Backward -- PS -- D-Pad = POV ✘ = 0 〇 = 1 ▢ =2 △ = 3 L1 = 4 R1 = 5 Create = 6 Options = 7 L3 = 8 R3 = 9 Left Stick = Stick 1 Right Stick = Stick 2 L2 = Stick 1 Forward R2 = Stick 1 Backward First things first. Before applying any of the configs for the fix, you will need to apply the default mapping for your controller on Steam Input first. Select Controller Settings. It should be the second option under the Game options on Steam Big Picture Overlay. It can also be opened if you're not running the game by right clicking it, selecting Properties, and Controllers. Make sure Steam Input is activated then select the hyperlink to "Controller Settings". Click the current buttons disposition or whatever it's called on your Steam's language. Make sure you have selected the default controller model. Now you're ready to map your controller ingame. INGAME MAPPING Make sure your mapping looks like mine. Just ignore the REVERSE GEAR, and INVERT options that are using BUTTON 8. I was messing with them and forgot to change it back. Since in no way my Steam Input uses the LS/L3 as the actual button, just leave them unassigned by right clicking them. This button will be used for something else, and REVERSE GEAR seems to work only on H-Shift mode, so you won't set it to you LS/L3. DRIVING GEARBOX MENUS MAP DASHBOARD OPTIONS tab is up to personal preference. Here is mine. STEAM INPUT Only now, and only then, after the ingame mapping with the default controller buttons, you're supposed to import my setup. 31. Hi guys, I just wanted to ask what you think are the 3 best cars in each class in the Platinum Mod (G to A as well as mB and mA). I am already far in the game, but the races are getting harder, especially the events at master level and the one-make races. I am looking forward to your answers. Many greetings

  33. View File TDU Platinum Race Pack Description This mod adds 139 additional races to TDU Platinum, primarily multiplayer and club races that have been converted to single player races, with many having newly modified routes. These races have been set to unlock gradually as you increase your player level. Some of the new races have entry requirements involving the use of the new manufacturers added by TDU Platinum. Along with this, several of the base game races have also had their prize payouts modified to be similar to those of the new races, and a small number have also had their routes adjusted. Many of the converted multiplayer and club races were max speed races, which I felt was rather overkill to retain as is. I've converted several of these into either standard races or time trial events. They will still appear on the map as speed races and count towards the Speed Race achievement progress, but other than this they function correctly as standard races/time trials. If I can find how to convert the map markers for these races to their new respective race types I will do this in a future update. The mod includes a custom Database file, which adds additional possible AI opponents. Some of the manufacturers in TDU Platinum do not have many of their cars assigned to the AI by default, for instance RUF only has one car assigned. I modified the Database to add additional models to these under-represented manufacturers to add extra variety to the opponents in certain manufacturer-specific races. This mod comes in two versions, featuring either standard length knockouts consisting of three to seven opponents, or shortened knockouts featuring only three opponents (except one race which features five opponents due to the very short lap length). Both versions are included in the mod zip file. Requirements To use this mod, you will need the following prerequisite mods: TDU Platinum v1.21 by Milli 289 Races on Map by tasos007007 Regarding the 289 Races on Map mod, you only need to install the contents of the 'Test Drive Unlimited' folder within the mod's zip file, so ignore the contents of the other three folders. How to Install Installation of this mod is simple. After installing both TDU Platinum and the 289 Races on Map mods, extract the contents of the folder of the corresponding version of the mod you wish to use to the root directory for your TDU installation (by default this would be "X:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited", where X is the drive letter where you installed the game). To check that the mod has installed correctly, enter any player house that you own. From there, select 'Game Info > Game Progress' and tab over to the 'Single Player Challenges' section. Hover over the Single Player Victory Level 6 target to see if it shows 259 races to complete the objective. I've also included an add-on that modifies two max speed races to become money races you can farm to earn large amounts very quickly for purchasing cars and/or properties. Further details about which races these are can be found in the ReadMe in the 'Money Races' folder. To install these simply extract the contents of the 'Money Races' folder to the TDU root directory and select 'yes' when prompted about overwriting files. Hints & Tips When you reach Amateur level, several races will unlock which feature routes that pass by the locations of the seven tuning shops on the map, allowing you to easily unlock them. These races are: Route for Take-off (Japan Auto Parts and British Specialist) The Puuni Race (Today's American Parts) Ascent of the Pepe (US Muscle Tuner) Lead Soles (European Specialist and British Parts) Friends or Enemies? (Forza Tuner) For the races requiring cars from RUF, Mine's and the BMW M3 GTR, these cars are not available for purchase directly from the car dealers. To acquire these cars, you will need to purchase a base model car and upgrade it into the respective models. These are as follows: RUF - Select Porsche 911 models (pre-2010s) and Boxster S Mine's - Nissan R32 GT-R and R34 GT-R BMW M3 GTR - BMW M3 E46 (the name of the event, Oahu's Most Wanted, provides a clue to which M3 GTR to upgrade to) The Champion level class-restricted races up to class C feature opponents two classes above the entry requirement class. So for example, the class F Champion level race features class D opponents, and the class C races feature class A opponents (class B and A events feature class A opponents). These races are designed to encourage the use of upgraded cars, as while not impossible, they are very difficult to win with stock cars. Have fun! 34. I found a hacky way, using the Hawaiian Bliss mod. I only copied the Level file over, leaving the weather part alone.

  35. There's an easier way. Put the "GMEDESIGNER = TRUE" line in your FX.ini (placed at \Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\FX) like this, so you can edit any of the races with ingame editor at the Pause screen.

  37. Yes, with a catch. As per the installation instructions, you are advised to sell all of your vehicles except for the Alfa Romeo GT (starter vehicle) before installing Platinum. You may choose to ignore this instruction but might experience glitches or crashes.

  39. I really like this Mod. This game brings back alot of nostalgia. The one and only thing I had hoped for was for more cars at that time. I still remember there was a Lexus showroom but wasn't accessible. Then came the mega car pack. Few years back I installed this mod but didn't really play the game. Now I'm back in TDU 1 and thank you Milli for creating this mod for the community. (Not sure if it's against the rules in this forum to call out someone like that. If so I apologise). None the less an amazing mod with these many number of cars! Kudos! I can't wait for more updates and to keep this game updated. P.S. Been playing TDU 1 vanilla for a long time. But this is my 1st post on this forum.

  43. 1. Make sure to click Save/Apply with your mouse when remapping the buttons. For analog sticks, keep it pressed untill it tells you to go back to neutral position. 2. Make sure to enable v-sync, and don't play the game above 60fps. 3. Ai is modded. It's made to be faster, but it's a bit broken, sorry! lol

  45. in English for fast xD hello! I had the same problem and there is no information about this hahaha. I suffered, but the method I did was 3 things: install prophet's crack (it brings the .DLLs for steam) The first thing was to activate all the features of .NET Framework 3.5 in the control panel. (Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features: Turn Windows features on or off) Windows takes care of everything... but also look at @KNYAZEV's profile. Your publication of your universal launcher, the history of updates that I made with the application and what changed or could be wrong in my installation path. He mentions that your tool settings are saved in C:\Users\NamePC\AppData\Local\i-Knyazev.ru\TDU2\Universal Launcher\v3 a single file appears: settings.HTML I made a backup copy and modified the file so much that it became unusable. but before trying the backup, delete it. install the universal launcher again... and it opened!!!! I just configured it as usual and the "settings" file appeared again, but with the new settings. my theory was that I installed the game (again) in another path, (C:\Games\Test Drive Unlimited 2) Because I downloaded it from the ELAMIGOS page and I had the PROPER version configured in the launcher, since it doesn't read the destination, it gets confused, so maybe I just need to delete the settings file and configure it again!

  48. Hello again, this is Ztryka and I present to you my next mod for Test Drive Unlimited: The Immersive Radio Stations & Driving Games Soundtrack (DGST) Music Mod Pack introduces new radio stations based on real life O’ahu, Hawaii stations, including station IDs, call signs and station names, that plays along with songs based on other driving and racing games aside from TDU (excludes one station which more than half of the songs are based on real life top hit songs list of the decades). The idea of the mod is to bring the real life radio stations to Test Drive Unlimited gameplay and create an immersion of reality while driving around the island of O’ahu. Guide to Install the Music Mod for TDU: 1. Extract the files from the Zip file. 2. Open Test Drive Unlimited, then copy the folder "Euro". 3. Paste the folder to C : > (Your folder location of) Test Drive Unlimited (For example, in my case C : > Games > Test Drive Unlimited) 4. Press Yes if asked to replace the files. (BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE DOING THIS!!!) 5. Look into "For User Radio:" instructions below. For User Radio: 6. Go to Test Drive Unlimited > Euro > Radio. 7. Cut the folders "User Radio 1" to "User Radio 4". 8. Paste the folders to Documents > Test Drive Unlimited > savegame > "Your Profile Name" (in my case, ZtrykaTDU, for example) > Radio (create the folder of the same name if there is none) 9. Play TDU, Continue Game, Exit House and Enjoy! For more information regarding the music files, check the other files that included in the Zip File: * Description doc * Description pdf * New Stations List txt * In-Game Tracklist txt Download Link: Mediafire Mirror Download Link Available: http://www.mediafire.com/file/78u46kzetgc19b9/TDU_Immersive_Radio_Stations_%26_DGST_Music_Mod_Complete_Pack_Files.rar/file Stock TDU Music Files: Vanilla: http://www.mediafire.com/file/6cvcie59cf97fyx/TDU_Vanilla_Music_Files.rar/file Platinum: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9w140fujphzfi6b/Platinum_Original_Music_Files.rar/file Special Thanks to people who helped me create the mod. I listed them down in the description files in the zip. If you guys want to make a request in creating your playlist, I am happy and willing to assist, since music helped playing TDU more fun and immersive. Enjoy, peace out! --- Ztryka ---
