So, i was going to publish a little bit, on each advent, but instead there is one big present for the entire christmas time. I hope this is ok :-). This project is to 13% done, but the result is so awesome and beautiful allready, so i decided to release it yet. The pictures show real representative ingame content. Here are a few videos from a friend in the game back when TDU was, well.. still online. Thought I'd share with you all here on tdu-c. I recall he told me he used to have a few profiles and record with a different one each time so people wouldn't know anyones recording and no one won't feel intimidated to try to drive at their best while hes recording. Anyways I thought I'd share the channel, some pretty good content, mostly crashes.. but still good. :lol: TDUTimes - YouTube for the curious ones, I was Lordofmessiah in the game. So excuse me if I'm a little biased on previewing the videos that have me in it..:lol: I kid I kid; All of them are great of course, some people that I recall who are in some of the videos, space, ksk, jcl, UGG group, zsc, greywulf, djtinnio, jzjamm, cs, palmer, brsirius and their whole br clique lol, etc, really too many names to mention. Most of who I've cruised with for a very long time. Hello. Last summer I discovered a mysterious bug, glitch or Easter egg that never had happened before and was very weird because I've never seen this phenomenon in about 9 years of playing this game. Before telling you what I discovered, it's better to inform you that this bug has been happened in the game which was been installed in a windows 8.1 system. The bug is obviously understandable here in this video (Better to watch whole of it because interesting stuff happens there!). I was searching for a mod to do what this bug do - fixing the camera position for a while. What did I do that the glitch happened in the game? started the game (save game was offline mode). cruised around with my favorite car (Mitsubishi Gallant VR-4 - Modded). paused the game to take picture with pushing the "P" key. entered the Picture Mode. opened the menu in the picture mode. I think I decided not to take picture and hit the ESC key on the keyboard repeatedly fast and I think I hit the "P" key again (I don't remember,though.... sorry). I saw camera stuck at a position and fortunately because "Fraps" was running already, I recorded a video from that scene, since I knew it'd never happen again I recorded as long as I could and accidentally I hit a police car and everything screwed up and that glitch never happened. After that I tried several times to see the bug but failed without even one success. does anyone know why that error happened and how to bring the glitch back?!

Almost everyone knows this star-shaped lights at headlights. In the basic game two things i didn't like. The rays of the star have become increasingly wide gen outside, rather than pointed constantly, and also too much to see. Otherwise i find it very pretty, which is why I keep it original. and these two things have changed. (up on minor irregularities in the texture) The glow in the core I have gently boosted, and reduced the bluish. It is indeed always still blue, but throughout there is a absolutely normal now headlight white. A common car is in the download file with whitewall tires, and an outatime specialty license plate. Unfortunately just have no other. So who doesn' t care about that, can install the carlightflare with the common car bnk . For those who have too many mods in it, the file light fx.2db is individually there also. Hello to all :) Yesterday i feel nostalgic and installed Test Drive Unlimited to play. I start playing but i fell that the cars are "old" or are just boring because i have driven them too many times :D . So i want to import new car models from different games by "Ripping" them with Ninja Ripper (1.1.4). Basicly my question is how to convert these .rip and .dds files into the .bnk files? Im very new in this thing. Well this will be my first time. I dont know almost anything about importing, game models, files..... But im almost good at 3D modeling (now im studing or more correct im practicing it) But in texturing im maybe not zero but 1 :D . So can somewone help me make myown custom mods by this method ? Im truly greatful to anyone who helps :)

Okay, so I got an idea. Since TDU Servers where shuttedown by ATARI, they don't do updates to this game no more. We can edit core files of the game, I want to say this - we can reroute game files to some other host machine, but game can get crazy. You know why? Because gamespy is offline too. Problem is, we would need two PAYED host servers. One for GameSpy alternative, second for TDU (Because, as you know, to get online in TDU you need GameSpy account). We need some great progammers to edit those core files of the game, or we will be ... So, why I see that this can get true: 1.) TDU is free for modding 2.) Atari is not updating game no more 3.) By editing core files and rerouting them to other host server, you can get servers online again. But, there is always but.. We need strong machine too for those servers. With fast internet connection and great processor and RAM. Something like i7 extreme edition and 16GB+ of RAM. :) And, as you readed, we need GameSpy alternative and TDU host server, and they NEED's to be connected (GameSpy with TDU), and that is hard work. BUT IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE! Another problem, where are game core files? If I would, or anybody else, would find those files, almost half-job would be done. So, progammers, please, let's try this. I know that there is alot of people who still play's TDU offline, and who want's to go online. Honestly, TDU 2 is big piece of broken art! Physics are pants, everything are pants in game.. TDU 1 is the best. What you think? More ideas to this? We need only to find game core files to edit server protocol, and host address, that's all for the start.. and the only problem. So, please, lets try to find those files and start editing them, it would be great if we get back TDU 1 servers online again! Please tell me what you think about this, peace. <3

HELLO TDU LOVERS! Recently, I bought the TDU Megapack and did all the things needed. Then, I've noticed that there are missing cars from the megapack in my game (like the Charger SuperBee, the Crossfire Roadster, the Dino 246 GT, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale and others...). Can you tell me what to do? I'm using an original disc of TDU. PLEASE! I NEED YOUR HELP!

I was able to reach 120 MP3 songs on my Custom Radio in TDU1. I had 4 radio stations with 30 songs in each of them. Now may I ask, has anyone reach past the number I've mentioned? And what did you do to reach that number? Post away everyone.
