That image and my signature probably look a little different (besides GTAMADDOG in the bottom right). There was the bottom of a lamp post in the top right but I edited that out. Probably didn't do it exactly the same in both images :p

I know, I just don't have the time to bother with it in the week, if I remember about it this weekend I'll see what I can do :p

 

It's only an HDI Dturbo, but it is my first car. Kind of want a GTI-6 next, once insurance prices have gone down, or a Golf GTI.

You've driven the GTI-6 as well, MB?

 

That said, the supercharged Golf (with APR Stage 1 ECU tune) is an absolute hoot to drive as well, no turbo lag. The GTI of course has the advantage of a better differential though.

My main reason behind getting a GTI-6 is to super-charge one, whether that'll ever happen or not is another thing :p

Yeah...right :cheeky: Not here they won't anyway, having said that I got a quote last night for mine *below* for just over £900 fully comp. and I'm still 19 :)

Haha, nah, the MK6 is well out of my price range. I don't know which era of Golf Mb was comparing to the 306 GTI-6, but if I was to get one it'd be a MK3, more than likely the 16v or VR6. Even then it'd have to be spot on and have every option ticked for me to be tempted.

 

I can see me ending up with my dad's Fabia vRS more than anything though, I think one of the main reasons why he still has it is because I like it so much and he keeps asking when I'm going to buy it off him.

 

I think it'll need a new clutch soon though and I don't want to pay for that :p
