its an american publisher, therefore they would be going by the american fiscal quarter schedule.

for example, look at this schedule of the most recent fiscal year

1st Quarter: October 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009

2nd Quarter: January 1, 2010 - March 31, 2010

3rd Quarter: April 1, 2010 - June 30, 2010

4th Quarter: July 1, 2010 - September 30, 2010

No, I don't think sfy had read the announcement. The announcement says the first quarter of 2011 so it won't be out in the first fiscal quarter for the US.

nope, when i posted that Destra had not yet made his official announcement.

of course, he has also admitted that he was not yet sure just which first quarter they were referring to either

Well considering their first announcement of the games launch was for Q3 2010, which turned out to be Fall 2010, which then became Sep 2010, it's pretty obvious that Q1 2011 refers to Jan - March. Fiscal calendars only tend to be used when discussing fiscal subjects.

i was wrong about the fiscal year thing, and i willingly admit it

"Hey Destra is the Quarter calendar you guys are going by a Fiscal year (1 October to 30

September) or by Gregorian ( 1January to 31 December?)"

Destra replied:

"Our reference to Q1 2011 refers to the Jan-Mar quarter, not the fiscal quarter. Thanks!"
