Totally loving the game I am!:D

Thing is, I'm spending my money alot on 'Rubbish' cars! I say Rubbish as most people say they are! But i think i've spent at least 100K on my Suzuki Cappuccino! No joke and i'm not quite finnished with it!(130Bhp and a top speed of 150Mhp...although not streached the gears to the max, doing so tonight and getting slipstream aid!). I also have a host of projects, Including an Autozam AZ1! :cheeky:

Also Not all my cars Are JDM stuff...i have a Merc C63 AMG for starters, and the chromeline cars!

If anyones wants to add me, The username is: Calster17

Also i'll post some pic's up soon, mostly of my 'projects' and stuff so epic!

I have to say, the privat online is pritty epic! You can open up a 'lounge' and have a free run! me and mates have spent an hour and a half just change tracks and tinkering with stuff on that mode and not even racing!

Also a reminder to everone who had GT PSP, you can transfer up to 50 cars from it to use on Arcade mode! :cheeky:

Also keep look out, as i'll be doing Challenges and championships soon! Would do them now but i'm in the middle of moving houses right now!

^ Are you kidding? The two games are so different and I hope everyone here supports me when I say that GT has way, way more fans than FM. That means it's a legacy that will take us hopefully into the next century or even further.

Its got to last that long as it takes them that long to make another one ;)

Considering I haven't owned any Gran Turismo games since the original one (have played GT2 and 3 at friends house for a day ages ago), I'm having a blast with the nostaglic tracks, great physics with G25, go-karts, Buttkicker, awesome cars, good enough visuals (even Standard cars aren't that bad imo). This'll last me a good portion of next year until Shift/DiRT come out again.

Considering it's already been patched twice and it's been announced they plan on continuing doing so I reckon it could turn out pretty good in the end.

It's the problem with games these days, they get released too soon and have problems with them which get discovered by the people who pre-order who make the game sound crap before most people have got their hands on it. Developers rely on being able to patch after the game's released when they shouldn't, they should release a quality product from the word go.

Hopefully I'll get GT5 tomorrow, I don't understand why it wasn't delivered yesterday but then again I didn't see the post-man at all so maybe this invisible snow we have forced him to stay at the sorting office because of health and safety or something.

How good is it actually? I just watched gamespot's review of it and they made it look less appealing to me, for example, the standard cars look like they were ripped right of GT4, this isn't a huge issue, but one I thought was weird. But what disappointed me most(from what I saw in the review) was the track editor/creator, I was excited about it at first and I thought we would be able to create tracks as we please(similar to mod nation racers) but you can only modify turn angles, etc and the game decides most of how the track will look.. I kinda hope they change that. The other thing was the GT Auto shop, again from the reviews perspective, it looked fairly basic and not what I expected again, for example, you can only paint a car in a colour of a car you already own, and only once! I will still be getting the game soon and I'll play the life out of it, but from watching the review, it looks like it could use a few fixes and probably could have been delayed another month to make it near perfect... although hopefully the "errors" are patched some time soon...

Everything is a good start - there's a decent chance there will be updates to things like the course editor. The things you mention only take a little away from what is otherwise loads of fun for me (if you have a wheel - I wouldn't play it much with a gamepad).
