Today I seated for my 4th final exam and passed it with a score of 5 over 10. I'm happy because I passed all of my final exams on december! (all four of them)

Now I have to re-seat for a physics (2) exam, and approve it, to be able to seat for its final. But that's in february and it's the only one ;)

Welp, looks like I'm officially in a relationship :)

Congrats! Enjoy ;)

Went to work for half a day. Got given Christmas presents by random people at work. Left work at 1PM to go to the work's Christmas dinner which was quite good really. Stood in a jam-packed bar for 30 minutes before I got naffed off* and came home. No work until the 2nd January now. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

*"Naffed off" seems to have multiple definitions, but my definition of it is to get fed up of something.

This isn't from today but I was far too drunk to post a couple of days ago and far too hungover yesterday to contemplate doing anything but I've secured myself a grad job 6 months before the end of my placement. Well, actually earlier but I wasn't supposed to find out. Even if I do terrible in my final year at uni I still have a job to go straight to. :yay: 5 figure pay rise and benefits here I come!

Even better is that the other placement students won't be getting job offers no matter how well they do at uni.

Alright lol, I spent 4 hours with that girl at Starbucks today and we walked from uptown Manhattan to midtown which took like half an hour. We finally talked about what was going on between us and I asked her out.

Now we're dating. :)

I'm not even mad, it gives me hope. Congrats dude.

My grandpa (dad's side) passed away today. He was 'fine' even yesterday, just supposedly over night he started to get sick, then this morning he got taken to the hospital at 7am. Dad got the call and left work to get down there by 8am, but he passed away at about 8:45 am this morning. Hospital said it looked like a lung infection, whatever it was it was pretty quick.

Now you're all probably wondering why I posted this in the good day thread...

Not that him passing made it a good day, but I do believe it is a good thing that he has passed away, as awful as that might sound. He had an irreversible disease/condition and has slowly been getting worse and worse over the last few years, how he's been lately, well, it's probably better off that he's not suffering anymore. I believe it was the best thing that could have happened, it was fairly quick and painless, if he hadn't of died from the lung infection and his lungs failing he only would've kept getting worse and worse to a point where it would've been a lot worse for not only him but everyone around him.

Lost both grandpa's in the space of about 2 months now

Holy crap dude, thats rough. My condolences to you, I think my GF's grandpa died the same way :( I remember that I had said to her that afternoon that I hope he gets better only to find out that he had already passed away that morning, I felt sooooo bad for that :(

I got to sit in the driving seat of a 'Antonov' AR500 Mustang today. Couldn't get a passenger ride in it though as the battery was flat.

Imported from the US and is currently sat in a Land Rover specialist garage owned by my step-dad's friend. There's also a substantial collection of Holden Utes there in varying states of dismantle/repair. I even found a 2002 Audi RS6 Avant huddled in behind some Land Rovers which has had a few bits and pieces removed, but it wouldn't take a lot to get back on the road providing the engine is fine. Interior mint minus the sat-nav unit which has been removed - it even had four matching Michelin tyres on it with good tread. Don't understand why half the cars were sat there like that, but I expect a couple of them, Audi included, will make some decent money in future as the Audi was a low mileage example as well.

Fantastic weather here today, going out to the cricket nets with some mates later.

Just been invited out to dinner next Saturday and Sunday by different friends as well, and also invited to go ice skating later this month with other friends.

Only bad news is tomorrow I return to work. :(
