That's what I did and that only makes it more facepalmworthy.

DD was just cars smashing the crap out of one another, I don't remember weapons or such, just crazy tracks and massive arenas where the last to survive or first to finish was the way to win.

 

I'm really happy SMS have been confirmed to be developers now, as Project Ferrari looked so promising.

The 2 things to remember though are:

 

1 - most of this stuff was made years ago before Shift 1 came out

2 - Have the publishers placed any constraints on SMS as far as physics go (like EA did when they made Shift)

I'm betting Atari is somehow involved with the game, would explain why no publisher was shown in the trailer. Sad really, this means the TD series as well as the TDU series could have been murdered.

It looks like Shift. That blur in high speeds is awful, physics are same as in Shift.

Well all I can say is that I hope the physics have been improved since then. The tracks looked good though and I love the look of the old F1 car.

The Monaco bit looked kinda cool, but the rest was just Shift 2 with slightly worse looking physics.

That video is new to me, and underwhelming.

 

So yeah, it's very old and not representative of the current game. I reckon it could be decent, but then I've already got Ferrari Challenge on PS3, which was decent - so this has to be a lot better.

That's about 3 years old IIRC. I remember it.

 

We're under NDA chaps. As a developer we have no rights regarding marketing when there is a publisher aboard.
