New episode, scripted as per usual, but if Clarkson and Hammond really did help with the cars stunts and it ended up the way it's been edited for the movie, they did a great job, obviously all the stupid stuff was for the show...

I thought it was rather good. When the experts put all their footage together, it came out rather well.

There is a difference between having a script... and writing a novel that the presenters have to follow every single page of, corny jokes, stupidity and all. The older Top Gear episodes really had some great stuff that probably wasn't scripted into the episode.

This weeks was pretty boring, and in the usual fashion when they decide to smash up perfectly good cars, I wasn't impressed with that either.

 

My favourite part was probably Star in a Reasonably Priced Car which doesn't bode well for the program as a whole.

The chase looked cool, however sometimes it was too much (destroying cars). I must watch the whole episode. :fp:

I was thinking it is strange they haven't mentioned anything about Saab's death yet but apparently Jeremy and James are going to "pay tribute to quirky and recently deceased Swedish car maker Saab" next week on the 26th. Can't wait to see that. :hmmm:

Good Episode tonight, first 45 minutes were serious, and the last 15 were fun but not 'fun' like last week, it was entertaining to watch.

Wasn't too keen on the off-road mobility scooters but I did enjoy the first segment with the Fisker and also the production with the Ferrari and Bentley was top notch yet again!
