Not a fan of Matt Smith, wasn't interested in SIAPC at all today. The jet man thing was forgettable but fun, the saab segment was good and I absolutely loved the Maserati

Tonights show was good, not too much messing around, the guest was pleasant and I enjoyed every segment.

 

 

The whole "Let's do a contest to see which is the best at dougnuts, as hammond's will be rubbish at it" thing annoyed me, it was probably the only very scripted part of the episode imo. The whole battle of britain segment was fun and memorable, I don't think they've had similar vehicles on in the past. Alex James was pretty good but as always, he likes cheese, he's hardly going to have the charisma a rock star should have.

Other then that it was a very decent episode indeed.

There will be another 6/7 episode season around July probably. He mentioned on the radio that they're still doing 14 episodes per year. Which is actually up on the 12 for the last couple of years. :hmmm:

They had some funny running gags in that last episode, was good overall, but not high on my repeat-watch list.

I was disappointed to see the KTM as I've seen 5th Gear come to that same conclusion a long time ago.

A lot less scripted stuff this series, let's just forget about that ray winstone stunt film episode and it would of probably been a great series.
