So Now What?

Now that Atari has closed the TDU servers, the question has to be asked, what does that mean for us as a community?

 

It would be nice if Atari would give the PC server version to a trusted lot and allow them to keep the game alive. Only imagine what we could do with it. :thumbsup:

Many of the loyal members on here haven't been playing TDU or TDU2 for months or even years, so I don't think it means too much for us as a community.

 

...however there are plans in place :nods: Just wait and see.

We'll carry on, we'll evolve, some will move onto new games, we hope to cater for them in a way. A new focus will arrive shortly, but we won't forget about what made us all come together. Some will leave us and new people will join, but we will still be the original TDUC community at heart :)

TurboDuck is coming guys, so don't worry. The original deadline I planned was just before Forza Horizon/MW2 were to come out but after hearing about the TDU server shutdown I tried to aim for today/tomorrow to be the new deadline. This hasn't went to plan though as over the last near week I have been ill and not able to do anything due to a severe sinus infection so I lost about 5 full days of work time on it. I'm still aiming for TD to show itself in the very near future and before the original deadline, and even though I'm still not 100% I am back on it for a good bit before I need to stop.

 

Just ask Baldy as he has been watching it progress from the start and helping me test in crappy browsers and such. :) Note: IE users will be shot several times.
