Unofficial Patch works online but I do not guarantee that nobody will get banned. I'm sure that patch is bypassing silly Atari hack detection system but it's always possible that you will be reported by a regular player. The more people use this patch the more people know that it's not harmful to others and less probability that someone will be reported.

Please don't ask same questions. It is possible and in my opinion it does not affect game's balance very much. Of course if you take part in a serious competition you should discuss using this patch amongst your opponents but for casual races I would say it's fair - otherwise I would not publish it.

Of course there always will be people who can't make out the difference between cheating and modding and they could call you a cheater after seeing a car normally not available in game.

If you mean an unpacker for the game archives, then it is not needed to include one. there are loads of places you can get the unpacker and tutorials on how to use it. You only need to google a little and you will find them. one such tutorial is on this forum ( it's my tutorial :) ) why bulk out a patch that does the job fine, with extra things, when they are already available from plenty of other sources.

Anything you can do with the casino-cars bug? Apparently you can't own those cars in two different profiles, which is a bit of a downer since I really like those cars.

Also, can't find the V6 Mustang anywhere...

Anything you can do with the casino-cars bug? Apparently you can't own those cars in two different profiles, which is a bit of a downer since I really like those cars.

Never had this problem and even if this bug really exists it would be hard to repair.

I doubt it does the job fine. Many people has problems with UAC if their game is installed in default directory. In such case unpacker you guys use will in worst case unpack everything to VirtualStore and eat 15GiB of free space. I wonder why my DLC2 unpacker isn't more popular since it works in 99% of cases, unpacks game to any desired directory and allows to use unpacked and normal game simultaneously. Unpacker which I suggested to include would be even more reliable.

I know this bug very well. I made the mistake and bought the R8 Spyder at the casino with my first profile (offline) and then i didn't got the car after winning it online in the casino. A different easier solution is maybe to insert the R8 Spyder and the Aileron Spyder to one shop on the island. I have the R8 Spyder in my garage now, but maybe it would help those who have this bug. Or do you think that this is also a "No-No", because the casino is also a dlc? (I would understand if you consider this, to not make these cars available in the shops.)

Hi guys.

Was cruising in the R8 4.2,

when someone random entered the car, they saw the V10 engine instead.

What's wrong here, he definitely saw the R8 4.2, since his 5.2 is modded to a lamborghini

This is completely normal. Devs had remove 4.2 FSI from the game after dlc1 and replaced it with V10 model. That is why people without patch see V10 model with a different name. The same applies to Nismo and Mustang V6. Furthermore all new cars like F430 they will see as green lancia on blue wheels (just like a Diablo in my recent video).

Are the files for Force Feedback accessible? For wheel users it would be a blast to have working FFB.

My Fanatec CSW has no FFB at all. Driving like an old sim from the 80's now.

Yes. they are accessible and some improvements can be made but don't expect that after modifying one config file something what is broken from the scrach will suddenly start to work as it should.

If it doesn't work at all adding this device's ID to the config should do the trick.

Another question: is it possible to make the skid sounds in corners louder somehow?

I want the tires to scream when i turn in too hard. Right now there is zero to none audible feedback from the tires when they lose grip in a corner.

Little wish from my side. ;) Can you please add a 2nd Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG on a free carslot? (Maybe the Outlaw-Benz). There are so many nice carmods, which replace the CLK. But you can only use one of them, cause you have only one CLK to replace. (Unfortunately no other car has the same basemodel like the CLK).

Cool part of this Unofficial Patch is that it actually allows cars to be added to the game, instead of replacing them by swapping carbodies. Maybe one of those nice carmods you refer to can be completed, made fully functional and added to the game through this patch. It is a much better way to add cars to the game :cool:

The Physics fixes i tried so far are a real improvement over the default one from Eden games. No more locking brakes, no more ridiculous sliding of the cars. TDU2 might one day actually be fun to drive, lol.

I gave Xarlith some feedback for further improvements. I hope he can figure it out. Fixing Physics is probably not that easy.

Makes you wonder why a few talented guys from the community can do what the devs couldn't or didn't want to do in 2 years time.

Yeah i know that and i really appreciate the option to insert complete new cars. ;)

But maybe it is a little bit more easier to copy full existing cars with fully working physics on a free carslot, instead of inserting new cars, where also the physics have to be fixed. And in mind, as far as players who do not use this patch are conserned, there would be no difference. They would see only green lancias in both cases. (I don't know really much about the work that is behind this patch, i can only imagine, so my suggestion is probably a "rookie/n00b"-opinion in this case. :D)

I have a better idea. To make Outlaw use second BNK witout changing CarID. That would make others to see you in CLK/Outlaw rather than in blue Lancia.
