    See those beautiful banner pictures up there? Want to get your picture there next week? Here's your chance! :duck:

     

     

    Rules:

    * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes). Send a PM to the person who chose the theme if you are not sure.

    * Images must not exceed 5MB, and dimensions must match or exceed those of the banner image shown on the Index page.

    * Each person who enters must also cast a vote. You cannot vote for yourself. Voting infringements may lead to disqualification in the event of a tie.

    * Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides.

    * Winner has 48h to create a new thread/theme or until staff remind them.

    * Winner must not try to sneak new rules in the new thread or alter existing rules.

    * Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them are not eligible). Please mention what game your screenshot is from if not obvious.

    * Entering the competition with a TDU2 picture may result in suspension of your account.

    * Minor non-enhancing editing permitted (cropping, addition of your name, etc) is permitted, as long as the actual screenshot isn't tampered with. Just like all the other previous photo competitions.

     

     

    Theme:

    Golden era of racing (examples: 80's and Early 90's F1, Group B etc)

     

     

    Closing dates:

    Entries close Sunday 15.2.

    Voting closes Wednesday 18.2.

      :hmmm: Hmmm yea not sure. Racing is racing, not road legal racing cars even if there are very close to the real racing cars. Let's be honest, The Toyota GT-One Road Car isn't the race car even if they are technically very close. The car was modified to be driveable on the road.

      In TDUFREAK's theme, when he say "Golden age of racing", that means Racing is a stage with race cars specifically design to go round and round a racetrack. Plus, Golden Age is as he say the famous 80's Group C Le Mans cars, F1 or Group B Rally racing car.

       

      Don't know, that's my definition of this theme: PURE Racing cars. Machines to win. After, FREAK can decide if he wants to accept road legal racing cars. But it would be a bit like the previous theme.

        Group A? As much as i love the Evo IV... i don't know. :lol:

         

        Allowing it means people can argue about post a STi GC8.

         

        Or people just don't argue and post pictures of racecars... To some Group A is golden too, the cars known from classic rally games (Focus, Evo, Impreza) etc with major names like Burns, McRae.

          I agree with CLR-GTR, for me the years of Celica VS Delta till like the early 00's were the golden age of Group A
