What color schema do you prefer?

eventho dark theme has been gaining lot of attractions lately, but majority of sites on internet still default to light theme

because for some odd reason it's okay to say I perfer dark but not okay if I perfer white

I vote light.. it matches the new modern look; it goes with the soft edges and fonts. Anyway, I do like dark too, but the only dark themed site that I visit these days is a warez site.

Youtube and Twitch's dark theme is very pleasing, for instance

The white color looks shape against dark background, idk if it's just me, let me know what you think

I usually go Dark theme but found this one is a little too reliant on 'black'.  Perhaps try looking at other dark themes how the use a combination of black and greys for a 'softer feel'. You can go to Google image search and enter 'dark theme' for examples.

also I have toned down the white font now on the current dark theme

but yes I get your point, it has overuse of black element

I voted for light scheme but after swithcing to dark scheme I think it's cooler

I would lean towards no.  Those who love dark mode (in general) are more likely to go looking for it.
