Good to see you back in the game.

 

Biggest physics improvement are the brakes IMO. And 4WD cars don't turn into a frisbee anymore, when braking and turning. :lol:

Especially the new cars drive very well. The Shelby probably needs some work, lol. But a lot of fun anyway. With some practice it can be a drifter.

 

I took them all for a spin and made some short videos of the first runs. Driven in Sport Mode, as i think that is more real than HC, with Stick Shifter and Clutch. I deliberately overdrive the cars, just to see how they react.:cool:

 

 

Just to give a small impression of the fun these new rides provide.:D

I have tried all three cars and they are great especially Shelby with weird handling which is fun but since I love slower cars 300C is the best for me :)

Did anybody notice when switching profiles your game hangs at the spinning circle bottom right of the screen and doesn't load? I had to alt+f4 to close the game then restart it. The game started up ok, I did this in offline mod before going online. I have a friend who started his game online switched profiles, his game did the hang thing he alt+f4 to close and when he came back he got a "sticker shop file corrupt" message and the game deleted his sticks folder so he lost a bunch of his newly painted skins.

The non locking brakes are already a big improvement. Physics of the Countach and 300C are very well done. :cool: Shelby 500 is crazy.

It was really fun to drive these new cars and it felt like they were always part of the game.

That alone says enough about the quality of this patch and the people involved.

The cars are also fully integrated and well balanced within the game.

 

And let's not forget the countless other fixes and improvements of this patch. Cars are most noticeable off course, but they are a bonus.

You can see the care and attention to detail this mod team has. All about quality.

Has anyone figured out why the wheels seem to block when the car is in the air ? We can also hear a strange noise, same as blocking brakes :)

 

I think it would be great to remove this awful gear change noise, 'clanking' with a high lag. Do you see what I mean ? It's very present in cinematics as well.

Switching sound in cockpit is good though.

Sometimes you can see skid marks going up a wall or stick in the air, lol

Maybe to compensate for the lack of aerodynamics in TDU2? Apply a little brake to slow down the car whilst in mid air?

And when i'm at that, is it possible to add drag and downforce, like there was in TDU1?

It would be cool to have some minor slipstreaming effect when driving close behind another car.

 

 

Do you refer to the clanking like wooden parts falling of your car sounds? I always found them weird. Don't pay attention to it much as i'm probably used to it, lol:D

Gear change sound in hood cam seems to be alright.

 

When it comes to sound overhaul, maybe it is possible to cancel the weird noises in the "green finger" style homes. Or turn it down a notch.:lol:

Just imagine that list to be completed...

 

As there are two Lamborghini Murcielago's present in that list, maybe it is possible to change one of them for an Aventador. I think Xarlith mentioned something like that before.

Also it might be possible to add additional cars to that list.

Finishing this list is already a big task and there are still some other things to do in the game as well.

 

And when it comes to Lamborghini i would prefer a Miura :)

I have all gallardo lp's as well and they cockpit view problems and door is weird and invisible sometimes, to me aventador was finished with the exception of interior choosing.

TDU2 has got many Unfinished cars made by the developers!

Stock content never finished!

And the modders here are working on this patch for "completing" the Unfinished cars planned for the game. ;)

So weird, but I'm not surprised there would be the only solution they found. Btw, some cars are (were?) very unpredictable when in mid-air still, especially at high speeds !

+1, here is a TDU feature I miss (fun, albeit a little overpowered imo :) )

Will try to post a link to this sound, it sounds like gear change with classic cars in TDU1. Definitely not realistic ! lol

For example, when you stop car in 5th gear before entering a spot, you will hear the gear changes automatically 5th->Neutral during the cinematics. Ridiculous.

I may delete / make it silent in game files for the sake of myself.

lol, I forgot that. I have not been playing this game for 2 years :D

i try to install the unpacked version(i have unpacked game) and its say to me that i install previous version of this patch and i doesnt installed this patch ever.

what to do?
