The first person mode and car interior cams sound pretty interesting. I imagine they will make the game feel entirely different and slightly more difficult.

Only 2 months left to play a new old game. :hmmm:

Interesting, I'm still not sure the whole first person camera thing fits this type of game, but maybe GTA will be able to pull it off well :hmmm:

I think first person is gonna be great, back when I played Max Payne 2 I tried a mod that made it first person and the immersion was a lot bigger. The game world also somehow seems bigger, maybe because I feel you already see so much in third person view.

According to VG247.com, Rockstar recently made an update to their website only to remove it again..... It contained these new features for next-gen consoles and PC. Some things were already known, but a few weren't I think...:

- Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.

- All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.

- Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making.

- A brand new first person mode for vehicles that shows the interior of the vehicle, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights, and more

- A brand new first person mode while on foot

- A wealth of new easter eggs and random events for Story Mode

- New animals roaming Los Santos

- Animals in GTA Online?

- Players that transfer characters from Xbox 360 or PS3 will receive free new weapons and a free garage in GTA Online.

- Newly overhauled character selection screen

before anyone gets too excited I should remind this is the site that said the PC version is to be released in 18th of October.

VG247? Ye might be, but they are just messengers. It's no different than the whole automotive media that always called both the SLS as the AMG GT the so called SLC, only turning out to be wrong, just to give an example.

Plus there are also topics on GTAForums and Reddit about this. Ofcourse everybody can be wrong, but hey, it is not that far off considering what we've seen so far in trailers.

I thought it was a bit suspicious that it was taking them forever to release the specs...

Doesn't really bother me I've got soo many assignments due in this month anyway

And all OS's are 64-bit, no idea if that happened before but alright.

They really have to pull it off though. GTA IV as badly optimized, and with the stories Max Payne 3's PC team is handling V for PC, the bar is set. Then keep delaying the game to ''polish it extra'', while one might as well think the delay means they still haven't got it sorted, there could be compromises later on.

Ah well in the end it won't matter. People can be unhappy but the games got sold, Rockstar got their money and can focus on a new GTA, and everybody will blindly buy it again

Ye, this will be interesting to find out.

EDIT: for those who are still waiting for Heists, the same announcement Tim linked at tells Heists will be released in the weeks AHEAD of launch of the PC version.
