Hmm, been a while. I got this back in August.

I've now got a car thats mine and not shared, and insured as well. It's a 2001 Clio 1.2 8V...the car ive been sharing with my dad for the past 6 months.(Now the Saab's fixed he's useing that again). Just using it for a few months to get a NCB on the insurance(although been driving for 2 years, i'll let you guess why ive no NCB ;)), then I'll move onto something else that'll most likely be a MG/R product! :cheeky:

 

Will have post's of it up here by the end of the week, nothing dont to it as of yet other than 2 stickers and a air freshener! May have a set of 205 GTi or AX GT Alloys on by next month though! :)

Martijn, car's looking uber nice... The blue is rich and a great colour for such a car. Loving the subtle mods too :)

I would have thought the seats are a bit 'show-off ish' but they do look pretty cool. However wouldn't they be a pain to get in and out of all the time? The GT3 RSes i've been in got annoying after a couple hours!

Thanx! As i don't daily my car, i don't have much problems with the seats/harnesses. Getting in and out isn't that bad. And they are more comfortable then the stock seats. Those were worn out quite a bit and didn't give any support.

 

205 GTi is a good choice! I want one aswell.

In 6 month's time I'll be getting somthing else, got a huge range of cars in mind ranging from 80's saloons to brand spanking new cars! (Rover SR1 to the MG6)

 

Covering everything from Saloons, convertibles, hatch's, coupes, estates and everything inbetween!

If only it didn't have the M-Sport stuff.... I believe a comfortable saloon should be just that, rather than pretending to be a sports car. Otherwise, it looks quite nice (from what I see). Don't think we get the 50 over here. *searches*

Well yea, thats what some of the M franchise defenders say, but then again, BMW doesn't include this car under the M line in their website, its "a new line" called M Performance line. The M-Sport stuff are part of it, being the M Performance line, therefore its M550D, not only 550D.

 

Has some of the M5 visual parts, not all though, and god..the engine..3 turbo's under the bonnet, its madness :cheeky:

 

(and nope, in the uk and rhd countries, you dont get the m550d because xDrive would be a problem in converting that car to rhd, dunno why, but you do get the X6 M50D and X5 M50D)
