Don't forget how long it took the Eden team to release some simple DLC packs. (..)

Not against you, but remember that Eden never made any kind of patch, whether it was for TDU or TDU2. And ATARI (D.R.I.P.) made some DLC, true, but with almost 9 month between. At least from DLC Explo to DLC2. And the reason is that there were no more game developers assess to TDU2 (ATARI are still on many other games), since the Casino was up to work on it own server and just right after DLC explo. So the Release of the DLC2, was just a lucky bet, all the work had been done long time ago and the rest of the crew just had the task to finish it, and it took more than one semester to go out.

 

(Again, this is my personal observation and ascertainment, not necessary true as hell !)

I was only making a suggestion since a lot of people have been asking for cars like the Aventador, don't get me wrong, this patch is the best thing to ever happen to this game, it was just an idea

According to a former Eden Dev there were only 2 or 3 people working on TDU2 after the Summer of 2011. Bikes DLC was their last work. Probably because it was a contract job.

 

Still no excuse not to release and fix more.:rolleyes:

 

The Squabbling between Eden games and Atari has done the game no good, that's for sure.:twisted:

 

The TDU2-UP Team is also small and has produced more in a shorter period of time. And they didn't even create the source code. Makes you wonder.

Fortunately for us they picked up the pieces the devs left and keep TDU2 alive.:cool:

Got to say not long after 0.3 was released it was make this make that etc.

Not sure how the other modders feel but it does my f ing head in reading it all the time.

Do you think it's a few clicks and it's a new car in game.

I'm not sure how long it takes other modders but it takes me weeks some times.

I thought every one would be happy just knowing something is coming.

At the end of the day we can't make every ones personal choice.

Anyway now that utter drivel is out my head i will be back Wednesday to say if i will continue.

We should be happy that some people decided to make Patch for TDU2 ('cause the game itself sucks).

They're working really well, new cars, environment mods, fixes etc.

At the end you can just send PM to modder to ask him about his mod, or something and not to start fight here on the thread.

Minime I hope you'll continue, and make awesome mods as you did!

Wouldn't say the game itself sucks... it was a lot of fun for me even before the patch even when I used to play it on 360...

I love the game but cars in the game not. I am happy that modders put missing cars as 300C, Countach, and I hope Supra will come too :)

I have nothing against the choice of other modders, but I still want to add CARS to unofficial patch it according to the ID list . Yes, i Like Skyline, Supra, but this cars is not from ID list. In the future, I want thats everyone to follow according to the ID list, and after the ID list has added new ID slots for new beatiful cars.

 

P.S. as an exception : F12berlinetta replaced Enzo ID. Its 100% right Minime choice.

 

 

By the way, I think my Chevy ZL1 is 100 % "362 Chevrolet Camaro Concept" slot

Chill out guys.

Some people have talent in moding. Some people don't. Like me, I am mechanical engineer who do play games but also work and study. Other people become modder because they like doing moding games like gta, nfs and tdu.

Modders get support from people who always support what they are doing and even donating a few dollars to help modders do their stuff. Some modders here really like modding and doing stuff without complaint.

We as a non modders download and gives comments on how good or bad the mod are.

Without us this forum would be quite. I know some people are demanding without contributing or donating some money but still, they are here because they know only modders can fulfill their needs. Meaning that they like what the modders do because they know the modders are capable and trustworthy.

ID list cars are good to add. Just if some modder decide to add his personal choice of car - why not.

More cars in TDU2 - more happy people.

We just need not to rush modders and everything should be fine, right?

I dont think so....as tdu2 came out in the beggining of 2011 and they wont even guess about la ferrari as it was the last of the new generation ferraris to come out.... also there was another test drive coming out after tdu2 wich was dedicated to ferraris only and you dont see any La ferrari there...

 

Still dont be sad because if there was a la ferrari mod coming out im sure that we could replace it for any other unwanted car in the list.

F12 was meant to replace Enzo but in fact it replaced Mazda and R34 replaced Enzo. Don' ask why :D.

 

Theoretically it is possible to add more car IDs to the game, heavily time consuming and complex task without a proper tool. Now I won't waste my time on this since we have many free dedicated slots and a few bonus slots (unused generic cars, dupes) for modder's wish cars.

 

Don't expect new patch before Christmas and don't ask for ETA - I will let you know when we will be finishing.

as much as i know, with the thankful participation of an other modder of this forum, there is two known Mazda Slot :

230 - Mazda RX-8 (Unreleased) Replaced > F12 Berlinetta

Ibiza Asian Dealership > A5 Class > 238Bhp > 230Kph > 6 Gear Meca > RWD

And

289 - Mazda RX7 (Unreleased)

Hawaii Asian Dealership > A4 > 280Bhp > 250Kph > 5 Gear Meca > RWD

 

There still some Hexa-Key referred to the official model of the Mazda MX-5 2011, Didn't find the slot yet.
