  2. What's that "auto respawn thingy"? :D ----------------- I know this isn't the custom server code that everyone expects, but I thought a new version of Test Drive unlimited Advanced Tools, with more options and stuff could be nice to fill the wait. :p The 1.1 version is only available in command line style (as I already said creating a decent gui is quite long and I didn't have enough time to work on a good hotkeys mechanic) and offers even more options (camera hack for freeride, designer mode for the race editor, custom resolution for windowed mode...). I'm working as hard as I can on the multiplayer part, so don't loose hope, it will come one day. :cheeky: Also it is still a little bit buggy, but I'll fix that when I'll have time. :) Full article: http://backwardgaming.wordpress.com/2014/01/19/project-1-1/ Direct Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/z3r1mnmds2x3zrz/TestDrive-Advanced.exe

    Diesel sport cars

In my opinion it's just criminal to order a convertible with a diesel engine. If I was to have a convertible half the reason for having one would be to be able to listen to the engine properly. *Pulls up at lights* *dagadagadagadagadaga* Nah, a convertible would most definitely need to be a petrol for me :p

  10. Yeah, but you can't now because your parents have sold all your car toys to afford a fat all-wheel drive diesel sedan. So you're out of the game. Bai.

  16. i can bring an end to the Laferrari dispute quite easy. It ISNT going to be released for a very long time if ever. Might as well stop asking coz nobody can or will give a release date on it. I was the one who supplied Reventon with the High end laferrari model, he said thanks then shortly after mentioned there was a big problem with the interior, he didnt say exactly what, but did say it was enough to stop the project.. So unless someone is willing to stump up another $150 for a different laferrari model ( remember if its the same one from a different site its still gonna have the same interior problem) Nobody is gonna have laferrari mod until a different game has the model and we can rip it. Im sorry choc but you do need to calm your lalalala down a bit. you are getting almost as whiny as BMFC1 got when he was begging for people to give him models. Ive seen you refer to Reventon at least twice in the last week as a " f aggot" and say how he is a bad modder, but then still expect to see the Laferrari mod from him. Im sorry but if anyone spoke to me that way while still expecting something form me, the first thing id do is ensure you would never get your hands on the mod.. so you might as well stop asking about it. Hes the only one in this group of people that has that high quality model and he isnt releasing it any time soon, so we aint gonna get it until its fixed, its that simple. So you might as well stop harping on about it ( for like the 20th time this week)

    Diesel sport cars

I've driven a couple of diesels and I have to say that I still prefer petrols. Put your foot down a bit and it's already time to change gear. And I prefer the sound of petrol engines. Some diesels exhausts sound nice but not the actual engine that you hear when driving the tractor. There are quite a few positives to diesels though but none that I am really concerned about at the moment. I don't really do many miles each month nor do I need to tow anything yet. Plus, do anyone make a nice diesel soft top?

    Diesel sport cars

The remap in my car gives me the same torque figure as the diesel Golf but with more horsepower, and it's got max torque from under 2,000rpm, so it's not just diesels that are good at that. I realise diesels are very popular in Europe but down here they're more expensive to buy and service compared to petrol equivalents so the only people that buy them are those who rack up their mileage faster.

  23. Haha, that was rather funny, jatchypatchy. I don't do those things, I'd say I'm not bad at cycling but still whenever I go with dad's group of MTBers I'm not confident at all. We're usually riding on (quite regularly very steep) muddy forest paths full of branches, stones and stuff like that. I think it happened in August. There was a very steep downhill, well, not even a path. And a forester with his Soviet 4x4 was pruning something. I had to go very close to the car and then quickly turn right. Well, I didn't have much grip there and I lost that remaining grip on a slimy tree root and a big stone. Fell off the bike and did a somersault. Landed in a trench five metres away from the stupid stone. I didn't have the courage to get on the bike again, so embarrasingly put the bike on my shoulders and went on foot down the path.

  25. And when you are lucky to have an RWD six cylinder petrol next to an RWD diesel, both with a six speed, you'll have even a bigger smile on the weekends...

  26. Well, here is a lesson, never bê over confident of your skills hehe. Im aware im a very good cyclist, i have 12 years or more of daily bike riding, and i do go on 80km trips whenever im bored, have around 2500 - 3000km clocked since 2 years ago, the point is im a very confident and experient bike rider. Today, while still on our driveway, Thought id brake late and Hard before reaching the gate, im used to the bike when the roads wet and i have great tires for wet conditions, and My tires and brakes were dry, however the pavement hás a bit if Moss, and My overconridence Led me to skid rather than locking the front wheel and raising the rear as i expected. Needless to say it didnt go as i planned and i slid with My Back and knees on the pavement and hit My jaw on a big, heavy clay jar where we have a huge plant. Só i screwed myself a bit due to overconfidence, só ive learnt we need to be careful at all times, especially when we ré confident, since we wont expect mistakes to happen when They do. Só careful yall whenever on the road, accidents hapen when You think You vê got things handled. Sorry for tyos but typing on My tablet xD

  27. Perfectly put tom. Modern diesels are able to give a huge smile if youbwant spirited driving, and in car They dont sound tractorish at all, but ofc They wont sound delightful if You opt for a convertible xD

  28. True dat. True dat. However, the lag will always be there, even minimal. Modern turbo engines really have no lag at all. Auto trannies also can hide the turbolag a bit. Turbo engines are mapped to make full torque in low and mid rpm's, so there's really no point in revving the engine to its redline as it used to be with NA engines. And for daily driving that's all you need - smashing the throttle without downshifting. ;) As for diesel convertibles, well, I would never ever buy one. That's just sacrilege!
