I understand that some of you might be concerned by the performance of UP cars compared to cars that are in the game. The point is that majority of Eden cars do not reflect their real performance. Some of them are too fast (Pagani), some are too slow (RS6). Not everyone have the patch so fixing retail cars will destroy a competitive aspect of the game. I don't want the cars of UP to duplicate mistakes of the orginal devs so sometimes they might feel too slow in their class. We want the acceleration of our cars to match reality. Unfortunately, this is not entirely possible because some parts of physic we have to borrow from other cars but I do my best to make each car feel different and be as close to the reality as possible in this game.5 points

They only go that fast when tuned to stage 4 Saleen goes around 410 when stock therefore your arguments are wrong. And UP team is trying to improve the game not break it even more, so just because Atari didnt care about making realistic performance it doesnt mean they should add more broken content.4 points

Q: Was the weight of the cars like Driver: San Francisco (some say they felt a bit light) or more akin to Forza/GT/Other? Glad you people like it! Yesterday I blacked out the chrome taillight bezels, I love how it turned out! Ordered a black carpet for the interior a couple of weeks ago, too bad they are out of store, but I'll post photos as soon as it is installed! Zmodeler problem

Well there doesn't seem to be any materials applied to the car, all of it is the same grey Zmodeler default material. All the panels need to be metal, headlights are plastic, etc etc. Then textures have to be applied and then you can UV-map it.1 point -

The point is, the modders made their mods, they dont really care about the cars made by eden. Very selfish, but still I do the same. I don't make my cars for TDU1 go 500km/h just because some cars which were in the game from the beginning have wrong specs; I wont fix that because I simply don't do the job for Eden. I would say deal with it or try to improve it yourself. Yes I am an a55hole at this point but I just cant read that anymore1 point -

I do not agree with your statement, mate. There is always something to tweak and mod, to perfect something - if the person knows what to do obviously. I'm not going to argue with you about the car sounds - IMHO an Achilles heel of many driving games - as I have not played the game yet. TDU with mods done right was much more fun, for example. And there is a huge potential of having a big and alive community years after the game's release.1 point -

I don't think they like modding very much. When i asked Studio Director Stéphane about it, he looked like i just said something vulgar, lol.:D And TBH, what would you mod? Car sounds will be done by Reflections, using real recordings. If you go fiddle around with textures you will probably run into issues soon® You can not swap cars easily as every car has a ton of upgrades and special parts in various setups. Other "mods" will only "tweak" performance and can be seen as cheating. I think they are right not to support modding. You can only mess things up and ruin gameplay for others. Don't think this game needs it either. :cool:1 point

Was just having a look at the Gameplay Premiere again checking to see if I'd missed a Golden Plate when I thought I had seen something at the end but wasn't sure. And what do you know I did see what I thought and that was 'CTR 3', check out the smallprint at the end of that video, or if you can't be bothered just look at this image. It also mentions the Nissan GT-R too which if true will make a lot of people happy, me though I am delighted at the thought of the CTR 3. mental note: MUST update this list!1 point
